Oh the irony, the US undermined a democratically elected Afghany government in the 70's and trained the mujahadine to take over as a result USA drew the Soviets into Afghanistan which sent them bankrupt. Now the USA is fighting their on monster, oh the irony.
The Taliban
Okay, to all you hippies out there who think that we can just reason with the Taliban. These are the people who are killing U.S. soldiers in cold blood just so that they can force the goofy fanatic religious views on us. They'd kill you in an instant if you didn't agree on everything that they said was true. They want women to be prisoners in their homes! Think before you open up your big yaps!
Don't forget, critics, the Taliban are the ones who like to whip women in public, take girls out of schools and put the boys in the religious schools only. This is why you're going to eventually have to kill them off---not "negotiate" with them.
If "negotiating" means helping them out while they whip the women so they can "help us out too"---then you've lost the moral high ground before you start. You can't meet their Islamic fanaticism "somewhere in the middle". The fanatacism itself is the enemy.
Taliban and the war
So now we should kill every single human involved with the *Taliban*?! When do you idiots think that you will be full of the blood and violence of these wars? Do you realize that "We" invited the Taliban to Washington, and in fact hosted them in the White House, trying to get an agreement with them to guard the Trans-Ural pipeline, then under contract for construction?
This was shortly before the start of the war in Afghanistan. They were just fine for our tastes, then. But now, they are to be killed, like rabid skunks. I think that in this war, there are *many* versions of the 'truth' and which one you take heed of depends on where your tent lives and who is telling the story, no?
Soon, the world will be full of those that hate us, and .....us. Justifiably so, in my mind. We have shown our souls to the world, and the view is not as pure and white as most think or wish for. We are not the 'leading light' for the world to follow anymore. We no longer represent the best and most caring peoples in the world. We seem to be showing an unlimited taste for money, toys and power, but none of the Godly characteristics that a predominantly Christian population, versed on their Bible Scripture, would likely demonstrate.
Just where IS the special regard for human life that all of these Religions teach the US population every Sunday? How is conducting a cooked up, illegal and immoral war against a people who did NOTHING to us (Iraq), killing 5000 plus of our defenders and a million people in the occupied countries, something that "We" want other "civilized countries" to follow. It does not show any of the "American" attributes that we have been taught since day one. Which makes these actions uniquely "Unamerican", don't you think?
Consider please; that there is a plentitude of evidence, coincidences, and totally unanswered questions about this war, how we got roped into believing it was necessary (follow the money to find the instigators), and why it needs to continue until forever...to cause anyone with a working brain to question the official stories (which versions??).
Please...Think For Yourselves and Question Everything! Nobody values the truth anymore.

I just love the "WE SHOULD" comments by barstool brigade commanders whose only combat experience is fightng their spouse for the TV remote. No one is stopping you "heroes" from going over and getting a REAL tooper a ticket home.
What's that? You say you are only willing to fight to the last drop of someone else's blood? And, you are too busy mouthing off at the country club golf course to take time out to fight?

Are referring to the wild band of Arabs, one of whom shut down the half trillion dollar US air defenses with his laptop from a cave in Afghan. Few worldwide believe that old US conspiracy theory, though it appears many sheeple over where you live seem to. Just for a little mental exercise, please tell us all how an incompetent pilot, who couldnt solo a Cessna 172 with 600 hours in his logbook, knew how much angle of bank to apply to a hight speed 180 ton airliner, in order to roll-out and hit a precise spot on a building. 3 of them knew, or did they??.
