Trained for War, a Marine Company in Iraq's Once Dangerous Anbar Tries to Adapt to Shaky Peace

THANK GOD!!!
For once I have finally heard some kind of news about whats going on. My fiancee is over there, HN Robert B. Remington, andd although i hear from him, i'm always looking for stuff in the news. I think they're doing a good job, and really they can only do so much. I don't agree with this article putting the marines down, because they were back hom in CLJ then the next they were Iraq. It's a pretty hard adjustment, and i was there the day they left. I saw their faces, no one was really *honestly* excited to go, they were hoping they'd come back sooner than what they thought they would. Marines are pretty much 'trained to kill' well, at least thats what their mindset should be, but you can't help that things will get TENSE and tempers will flare, but really, they can't be the perfect military people tha twe hear about in movies. I think this is showing us what it is like to be over there and not have what it is that we have.
Congrats Capt Dallas Shaw, hope everything works out for you. Makes sure you bring my corpsmen and marines home, they have to be at mine and remington's wedding. lol.
take care and stay safe

Not Cool
It is really good that there is peace and I thank God for that. But this srticle is putting down our Marines.
Cool Dallas
I'm excited to see this picture of my son. I can't say that is his happy face though. He sent me a whole list of articles about their mission over there. I will be out first thing in the morning buying up all the issues of Newsweek I can get my hands on. Love, Mom
Go Dallas!!!
Hey Dallas, great to hear more good things about you. Your kids must be thrilled to see your name in "print." Hope you don't mind, but I'm sharing this with the Company website and FRO :D
Keep up the good work. Thanks for all your hard work in getting the guys ready for this deployment and training them to have the right mentality as well as the Arabic skills. (Thought you would have punished them with "Cindys" instead of just push-ups though!!! ha ha ha.) I know that D'Artagnan is definitely growing in his Arabi.
May God continue to guide you as you guide the men of Weapon's Company.
Julia
