I think we should care how many troops go over there. There are thousands more over there all the time. Plus all the ones getting killed, we need to find a way to help this issue

We all need to remember that these are our men and women over seas fighting for us. They are our friends, our family. Our boyfriends, borthers, sisters, sons, and daughters, moms and dads. if you support the troops you support the war. because when you support the people, you support the cause.

We all need to support the troops. They need to know that all of us bac, here at home love and support them.

Troops in the Middle East

The occupation of IRAQ has nothing to do with 9/11, it is only an excuse. If you think that the longer Americans occupy Iraq the safer America will be then you had better take a good long look at the history of the Middle East and what you are up against. The occupation of Iraq is only breading hate toward the American people. The people of the Middle East will never give up and more and more generations of Iraqi people will grow up to hate Americans and want to take revenge on the American people. War does nothing for peace we cannot compare the wars of the Middle East with wars of the past. The occupation of Iraq is not doing anything for the people of Iraq. Sure there are some short term goals being achieved but at what cost? The only way you may have any outside chance of achieving any long term goals in Iraq would be to stay committed for decades. Neither the people of Iraq nor the American people have an appetite for this. Currently the people of Iraq can only relate war and killing to the Americans, especially the younger generations of people who are growing up living in this environment. They will learn to hate Americans and they will take revenge. They have nothing to lose and all the time in the world.

Every war is winnable by force - if you have no morals.

The greatest travesty I see in all the Anti -American Anti- British Military threads is that we are "brutal" the wars there are "unwinable".

All america has to do do to win ANY war short of a thermonuclear one in which we all lose is this. Take out the "fill in islamofacist country here" 's oil terminals, military assets, power plants, bridges, and all other infrastructure from the air.

Never put a single soldier on the ground. Then..then do nothing and watch that country rot. When they start to rebuild with russian help hit it again.

People-America is good at blowing Sh*t up but we are not so good at rebuilding it under fire. I don't think we will even try with Iran. So call us what you want but most of our soldiers didn't die trying to "win" but to reconstruct our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It took me 2 seconds to find this on Google http://www.heritage.org/research/nationalsecurity/cda05-08.cfm . Do your own research buddy. Plus I was and am still in the military. Don't presume to contradict what I see with my own eyes every time I drill with my reserve unit plus the 7 years I spent on active duty. The truth is that the poor kids who want to make something of themselves are just what the military wants and gets. I got a 33 on my ACT and a 1275 on my SAT. I also had a 2.0 GPA because I was working 40 hours a week at Diary Queen to help support my fatherless family since I was 16. If I had been anything but a white male I would have had Ivy league recruiters kissing my ass to come to their school...but instead I had to earn my G.I. bill. I AM a victim of racism but boo friggity hoo. Just don't tell me to do my research when you cant take 2 seconds to do a Google search.

Afghanistan

Bush is logical. Now that his oil pipeline in Georgia is cut off due to the war there, and no hope in sight of restoring the flow of oil there soon, he is putting all of his efforts into forcing an oil-pipeline solution in Afghanistan. This is as likely to be succesful as a car with square weels winning the races at Montecarlo. RIP.
