Global warming is a scientific fact, no matter if it's caused by human activity or not. Warm and glacial periods were observed in history of the Earth, but never changes in temperatures were comming so rapidly i a short period of time and this is the most dangerous situation. We may have too short time to react properly and natural world will not adjust. The Earth biom may collapse.

But we have to assume more complex approach to solve the problem. I agree that population control is crucial to preserve our limited resources; the soil for agriculture, drinking water, the ocean life, clean air. We are running out of time, we must develop and popularize the systems that will clean, reuse, recycle, utilize and save energy. If we live and produce food in a sustainable way, the drastic climate control measures may not be necessary.

If any fraction of the observed global warming can be attributed to the action of humans, then this by itself is positive proof that the human population of the Earth, living as we do, has exceeded the carrying capacity of the Earth.

So it is an inconvenient truth that any plans or policies intended to solve the problem of global warming that does not center on stopping population growth is an intellectual fraud.
