The former vice president has more freedom to advance his agenda on climate change and other issues

William is for costly privatizing energy reform...
Reagan was a leader in closing tax-funded agencies so his funders could make a profit. He shut many state-owned health facilities. His pals built their own. After that, they profited from Medical and Medicare patients. He imposed tuition for the first time on our tax-created Land Grant colleges. Fewer students attended. Others took student loans from Reagan's banker pals. After graduating, professionals charge more, to pay off student loans faster. The Bush-Cheney War for Oil hired private contractors, (Bechtel, and Cheney's former employer Haliiburton,) to rebuild what our taxes were used to destroy in Iraq & Afghanistan. Corruption was exposed. We were overcharged for meals for the military, etc. Afghan officials stole off the top of what they got from us stupid American taxpayers. Taxes are not being used to build hospitals and schools here, but over there. Privatizing is the most costly way to do anything.
John and Schaefer go off topic with insults....
John shows he can use words "idiotic, stupid, gay-loving commie-loving dems." He is not winner of the Nobel Prize, so he insults VP Gore. Schaefer posts his usual denial of global warning. They must not have seen NASA photos of glacier and floe melt. Polar bears are dying because wide gaps between floes make it impossible for them to catch enough seals to eat. Shorelines will rise and flood cities at the edges of continents. VP Gore is an executive with Microsoft, which means he's working in the advance guard of scientific discoveries in communications. I'm invested in Google and its Chinese counterpart, Baidu. When tribes in the Gobi Desert have computers, you know the times they are a-changing. World markets are shifting. We must help public officials decide correctly what to do about shifting to alternate energy. I'm very pleased to see enormous windfarms off the coast of Holland, and more solar installations in sunny parts of the USA. Before they put windfarms on a particular pass in Northern California, we always used to say, as the wind pushed the car from the side, "They should put windmills here!" Congratulations to VP Gore.
Stupidity!!
Gore is an idiot, period!! He's crooked this nation & moronice environment companies out of millions. Anyone that believes his hogwash is as stupid as him!! Bring back the jobs to this country, & the heck with the gay loving commy liberal dems!!
Real green energy jobs
No-one, unlesss rich and you only become rich by hoarding your money, has the money to fund research that will generate no income! If scientist said global warming was hogwash they would not get funding and there would be no free ride at taxpayers expense. This and poeple believing everything they hear has created a society that lives and breeds off of dirty science.
Not that I don't agree that we need to cleanup our wastefulness, but we also need to quite squandering our resources to justify someones job. Our government is saying we need to invest into more renewable energy, puts millions into agencies to support this, and then makes it impossible to recieve any of these funds unless you have money to convince them your worthy of their money! We spend more money developing ways to justify government jobs than we would spent just giving the money away to entrepreneurs and let them develop the technology and impliment it!
We have been working on an ethanol fuel facility scalable to a community without the big business to reep the profits. All the profits would be used to develop spioff business, small business and the monies would stay in the community to regenerate jobs. This could be replicated to other communities all over the world. Real green energy jobs developed from sound science! Our idea requires that we overcome the misconseptions that big business generates in our society to protect their "Profits" by using their money to create guidelines (government policy) that implies that average people can't solve our nations energy problems or the worlds for that matter. In other words unless you have written books on renewable energy you don't know what your talking about! The bottom line is we need funding to get our idea off the ground and really help solve the world's energy needs. Want to help go to: votingpeoplehelpingpeople.com

Before ALGORE discovered the gold mine of "Global Warming" his net worth hovered around 2 million dollars - It is now north of 110 million dollars - and a Noble Prize for the darling of Hollywood as well... The hoax of Climate Change is going well for Big Al.
No to Greg & his rejection of rising temperatures
Jeb Bush helped his brother steal the 2000 presidential election. Gore should have been president. We should not have had all these years of catering to power companies and other polluters. "Jews for Jesus" is a small paperback but it explains some ways the electoral process was subverted to give the White House to the oil-rich son of the elder oil-rich Bush. Greg "has a B.S. in chemistry" but apparently he believes people have nothing to do with climate change. He says "Al Gore's Global Warming junk science makes me angry." I doubt that's why V. P. Gore tries to improve our environment. I invested in solar power companies when LBJ was president. Costs of the Nam war made Congress cancel tax credits for alternate energy. I lost thousands when the companies failed. Good news is that government at many levels demand solar on new public buildings or retrofits. States are building vast solar and wind projects. If Greg goes Googles "Global Warming," he may be able to better understand how badly we were cheated in 2000.
Science versus Politics
In this article the comment about Al Gore encouraging scientists to become more political in expressing the views could be stated a little differently. Why doesn't Al Gore just come out and say it the way he means it. Oh yeah, he is a politician. Instead of speaking out of the side of his mouth, just say it like this with conviction: If you academic scientists want to have research funding and a respectful career or quite possibly a job in general, then don't use scientific principles and data to oppose my political agenda. I am all for building green, conserving resources, eliminating waste, but Al Gore's Global Warming junk science makes me angry. I have a B.S. in Chemistry and seeing Al Gore speak with authority about manmade cause for climate change makes me laugh. It is like hearing a very good car salesman tell me what is mechanically wrong with my car to sell me a new and improved model of car. He's a good car salesman but not a mechanic.
