Open up our oil, it will last us 500 years. If we can't find a new source of fuel within that time, than we deserve to run out of Oil. Also, this whole Green thing is getting on my last nerve. The Earth is going to do, what it wants, regardless of what we do. Haven’t the millions of years the Earth is suppose to have been around proved that? We were once a tropical planet before; we might just be going back to that for a few thousand years, before we go back to another Ice Age, than back to what we have now. Why do we listen to stupid people like Al Gore? Last time I checked he was not a scientist. Next thing you know they will be saying the planet is in bad shape, because it’s reforming Pangea. Wake up everyone, Global Warming is just the new scam to force us to pay more taxes to the government. I know that smart people out there is in the majority of this way of thinking, why do we allow the minority of Hppies to control what we pay to the government? I am not saying we shouldn’t take care of the Earth, because we should, but the real scientist that tell you Global Warming is the biggest scam ever created get pushed under the bus, while the sotto scientist like Al Gore is allowed to pollute our minds with garbage.

Adapt to climate change, don't try to stop it

Carbon taxes, or cap-and-trade mandates, will destroy energy-intensive manufacturing jobs wholesale. American workers whose jobs are shipped offshore due to cap-and-trade or similar nonsense should be reminded to thank their members of Congress appropriately in the next election. I, on the other hand, would rather find ways to create high wage jobs that lift people out of poverty than ways to destroy jobs and throw them into poverty as the cap-and-trade folks would like to do.
Geoengineering can stabilize Bangladesh
Why does the IPCC and the environmental community not put stud amd deployment as needed of geoengineering solutions front and center. Such approaches as emulating the cooling effects of large volcanic eruptions and cloud seeding to increase the albedo (reflectivity) of the earth have been endorsed for study by Nobel Laureate Paul Crutzen and Ralph Cicerone, president of the National Academy of Sciences. There is a grave moral issue which the IPCC and the environmental community must face if they continue to ignore this interim solution to climate change.
The Loss Of Fresh Well Water
The loss of fresh well water to saline intrusion is common all across the world where fresh water wells remove so much ground water that the normal equalibrium line between freash and saline moves further inland. Having studied the minimal rise in sea levels and knowing the process well, I think this publication and author have performed a great disservice to the public.
The high priests of the phoney Global Warming religion wanted George Will burned at the steak and his publication run out of town because he questioned their doctrine and offered actually accurate data to refute it. So I suggest that Mr. Chropa and US News be subjected to the same indignities. But that will not happen because when they stand on their heads and tell the rest of us we are upside down, the the main stream press gives them a pass.
