For Obama, Governing in the Age of YouTube

Obama's team extended the use of technology in the campaign, and plans to do so from the White House

Some are questioning whether having such a huge voter-contact operation in the White House will be too partisan, and whether it should more properly be done by the Democratic Party or an outside group. But Obama has said from the start that he wasn't just running a campaign but was building "a movement" for transformational change. His emphasis on the Web and other new technologies to capitalize on his army of supporters shows that he remains very serious about that objective.
