Sorting Out McCain's and Obama's Spin, Exaggerations—and Worse

Thank you, thank you. I have been saying all along that that most small businesses do not have PROFITS of $250,000 or more after all expenses. My father had a small business (cabinet maker). After materials, pay for workers, insurance, and other overhead expenses, his "salary" was a fraction of his intake. If a small business owner can still have a gross salary of $250,000, he is just the same as someone working for a company. All this McCain saying half the small business would have increased taxes according to Obama's tax plan is ridiculous. How can anyone believe it?

Although I have no desire to vote for McCain, if he had chosen a suitable running mate, at least I would not worry about this country if he won. That he wanted someone else for VP but listened to his advisers shows he is not his own person. Sarah Palin was chosen because with the McCain camp it is all about the campaign, not the country. Didn't someone say that about Obama?

Since the media has no method to convince anyone there is any truth left we are on our own to determine the truth for ourselves. cling to your gins and your religion for god's book still has truth and love in it.

If you ask me, this better describes John McCain. Anyone who endured 5 1/2 years in a concentration camp would be emotionally scarred.

That probably helps us understand why he has flip-flopped through his entire adult life. First with Charles Keating who, by the way, was responsible for generating 30 percent of John McCain's campaign revenue for his initial election as a Democrat to the US House of Representatives. Not to mention the Keating 5 scandel.

McCain's emotional scars can be attributed to his infidelity with his first wife as well, I'm sure. Heck, who wouldn't go after an extremely wealthy beautiful blonde who knew full-well he was married at the time of their indiscretions. Of course, his first wife was also a beuatiful woman, a famous swimwear model that he fathered 3 children with but left in a lurch when she was disfigured in a terrible automobile crash while he was a prisoner of war. So, Mr. Righteous-Family-Values flip-flopped with his marriage too.

Not to mention how he flip-flopped with the last 3 churches he belonged to, each time moving into a church that represented greater potential for more campaign contributions from its members.

So, yeah, the man is scarred emotionally. He is just a cranky old man who goes wherever the beauty and money steer him.

He's scarred and shallow.

And, of course, why wouldn't he pick a beauty queen for a running mate in this election. That's just the way he is.

They are all guilty

All the news thats available for general consumption is biased towards Obama except FOX. I don't see anything in Obama except deceipt. A man harboring deep emotional scars that will drag our country down to his level. People need to see beyond his white wash and vote McCain.

Change: The Time Is Now!

The Republicans had their turn at running the country and they pretty much screwed things up. It's time to let the Democrats prove whether or not they can right this ship.

Trickle-down economics has yielded nothing more than golden parachutes for greedy CEO's who have abandoned American workers and lobbied for tax breaks that send our jobs off-shore.

This is precisely the reason that labor unions began in this country to begin with: greed and power.

American workers need the Democratic party to act on our behalf to thwart the greed and power of modern day CEO's. They are not using free-market practices to grow our economy. Instead they are only concerned with growing their own wealth.

Truth in packaging

Hard to sell policies that have failed no matter how you package them.

Cutting tax's to let people keep their own money was Reagan's approach. He also wanted the Government to spend less. What then to cut? Social Security, Medicare, Defense and paying the existing debt is essentially the federal budget. Earmarks are a trivial amount and less than 1% of the problem.

Real problems require real solutions and shouting how bad the other guys are is not working when we are up to our ears in debt, the economy in trouble and no spin can work this time.

Saying you are more serious and competent when your VP shows a lack of judgment, and knowledge speaks volumes and a fatal flaw resulting in a failed campaign.

Distractions and competencies

The political attacks are planned to distract from our thinking about the capability to analyze and communicate, the capability to have this analysis and communication result in good judgment in choosing advisors and in coordinating the best ideas for America, not just the simplistic ideas. The simplistic distractions are planned to keep voters from thinking about how much poor judgment (Like Keating Five, the relationship with the Bin Ladin family and the last eight years of agreeing with the administration on war and deregulation) costs Americans in resources and in life and limb.

The special interests and lobby groups want to buy government decisions on the cheap and take advantage of Americans without having to deal with the complex results that might cripple our nation. They get people from the top of their class to represent them and manipulate to take advantage. We are too lax about the possibility that we might be represented by those from the bottom of their class and that we might be making it easy for the special interest lobby groups to take advantage of us. Again!!! They "spread the wealth" from the middle class up to the rich who pay for their services.

Having effective and timely studies by our government led by those from the top of their class has been lacking at great cost to us all. We have lost planes due to neglect in the timely study of flight manuals. We have lost lives and livelihood due to neglect in the timely study of intelligence information. We have lost a solid economy due to neglect in the timely study of needed regulations and deregulations. We have lost our standing in the world due to neglect in the timely study of diplomacy and when and how to successfully use it. Our country has had to have an expensive surge with financial payments to those who would oppose and expensive bailouts with hopes that these, although expensive, will fix some of the poor judgment and will work in the long run.

It is time to replace the simplistic attitudes and ideas useful in manipulation with a stronger understanding of ideas useful in doing the strong work needed to get us back on track. This needs to be led by a dedicated president from the top of his class, rather than by the special interest lobby groups who are carefully selected and paid to take advantage of America.

Again!!! Let's be careful in rebuilding our country's capabilities. We cannot buy off on Palin's advice not to be concerned about killing civilians. We cannot buy off on McCain's “I know how to” claims on how to win a war , fix the economy and so on. These are simplistic ideas of those from the bottom of their class, not based on effective studies. They are useful in delighting the emotions of supporters.

Fair and balanced?

Listening to the mainstream media these last few days I've learned a few things about the GOP's VP nominee.

1. From the media I learned Sarah Palin's husband has a DUI conviction from 22 years ago.

On my own, I learned that Ted Kennedy (hero of last month's tribute at the DNC) was drunk while driving a car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick in 1969. That same crash killed a young campaign volunteer with whom he was having an affair. Oh, and that young woman was pregnant with his child.

* Mr. Palin's (who is NOT running for office) DUI came a mere 4 years after Barack Hussein Obama (who IS running for president) SUPPOSEDLY stopped using cocaine and marijuana (by his own admission in his autobiography).

Shocking - It's OK for the presidential candidate to use drugs, or the Democrat party patriarch to kill someone while driving drunk, yet the husband of a VP candidate should be demonized for something done 22 years ago?????

2. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant.

* On my own I learned that Obama's mother was an unmarried street hippy in Honolulu , Hawaii, when she conceived Obama.

* On my own I learned that Joe Biden's (Democrat VP candidate) son was paid a large amount of money as a consultant to a credit card company, MBNA.

That SAME company had business before Senator Joe Biden concerning regulation of consumer credit practices. After the company paid a hefty sum to Mr. Biden's son, he voted in favor of legislation to help that company!!! That same son, Hunter, is also engaged in a legal investigation and suit for defrauding a former business partner!

*Shocking! It's a crime for the republican VP candidate to have a child who's pregnant even though it's irrelevant to how she performs her job, but it's OK if the Democrat Presidential candidate's unwed mother conceived him out of wedlock, and it's OK, however, for the Democrat VP candidate to vote in favor of a company who paid his son over a quarter of a million dollars?????

3. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin should be considered "selfish" for agreeing to run for VP knowing about her daughter's condition. Knowing that at her public role would bring extra scrutiny on the family is selfish and she should have declined, to protect her child (actually heard this on ABC this weekend).

*Strange! The same people who said Sarah is selfish for running for VP did not care about any impact on Chelsea when Bill Clinton had his dalliance with Monica Lewinsky. That was a private, personal matter you see. Oh, that's right....these things do not apply to the Democrats in power!! Silly me!!

4. From the media I have learned to be "concerned" that Sarah Palin probably won't be able to manage her family and do an effective job of being VP at the same time.

*Funny - I never heard anything about Hillary's ability to support Chelsea while re-doing healthcare or any of the other feminist icons who say you can balance work and family. They also never mention that Barack will have to balance time with his children while meeting with heads of rogue nations. They never mention that Joe Biden's kids, who don't have a mom, will be fighting for his time while he hosts white house coffee fundraisers and sells nights in the Lincoln bedroom. Then too, they never mention that Nancy Pelosi has five children but has no problem balancing her time.

5. From the media I have learned that Sarah Palin is "too inexperienced" to be a heartbeat-away from the presidency.

* Apparently taking on corruption in your own party and running a state that has at least as many people as Delaware (hint hint: that's where Joe Biden is from) is not really experience?

* However, time spent as a "community organizer" and less than 180 days in the senate where you've authored NO significant legislation is just the type of "change" we're looking for from the top of the ticket???

* Funny - Inexperience at the top of the ticket is a mantra for "change" and "hope" while strong practical everyday experience as the #2 is cause for concern???

6. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin's husband once got a ticket for fishing without a license.

* But, I haven't heard much about the fact that if he were still a practicing attorney, the VP candidate Joe Biden would be disbarred for plagiarism not once but multiple times!!!

It's OK to break the rules if you're a Democrat candidate but not OK if you are the spouse of a republican candidate???

7. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin doesn't know much about Iraq; in fact we wonder if she even knows where it is.

* Sarah's son volunteered into the US military and is now deployed in Iraq . I guess that doesn't count!!!

* Sarah has spent more time with troops in Iraq (as commander of the Alaska National Guard she visited Iraq last year) than Obama has even while running for president!!! In fact, when Sarah went to Iraq she spent time with the troops!!! When Obama went there, he skipped a base visit to instead go work out at the Ritz Carlton!!!

8. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin is a "lightweight" and she better be a "quick study" to keep up with this team.

* Funny, nobody is talking about how, after Barack Obama had "visited all 57 US states" or endless other stupid gaffes that expose who he really is!!! By the way, there are 57 states in the Muslim world!!!

9. From the media I have learned that (gasp!), Sarah Palin's husband was once a registered member of a 3rd party that favored states' rights (man, this is really bad stuff).

* That same media has been silent to the story that when Barack Obama announced his first senate run, he did so in the home of William Ayers. Ayers is an un-repentant terrorist convicted for bombing the pentagon!! This same Mr. Ayers said on 9/11 that he and his group did not do enough to harm our military and he wished he had done more!!! During the same time as that comment, he was serving on a board with Barack Obama!!!

All notes and information about their serving together is now locked up by the corrupt Chicago machine and reporter access to those records are being blocked by the Obama campaign!!!

If we've had any doubts about the bias of the media, it's pretty clear now where they stand. Pass this on to your friends and relatives who get all their information from the likes of Katie Couric, Wolf Blitzer, Tom Brokaw and the gang!!! This is egregious and corrupt!!! The only way to stop it is to spread information using other outlets and make these guys irrelevant!!!

Now Is The Time

I see you all have not lost your fight :

GOOD! Because we have a lot to do. You! (the American people) are going to have to take back control of your elected government at every level, and set your government back on the right path of service to you, and the greater good of the World.

Barack Obama and the democrats are your best hope of doing that now. Tell your family, friends, and everyone you know to support them as best they can. Because the Bush McCain vote fraud, vote cheating, vote buying, vote manipulation machine is already hard at work to cheat you again. And we all know what a disaster that has been the past 8 years of Bush McCain.

Barack Obama and the democrats will need all the power you can give them at every level of government (Federal, State, County, and local City elected governments). Obama and the democrats will have an enormous mess to fix for the American people, and the rest of the World. A mess caused by the corrupt Bush McCain administration.

You see, starting back in 2000, and before 911, it was mostly the Republican governors, Republican legislatures, and county elected Republican officials that conspired with the corrupt Bush McCain administration to raise college, and university tuitions by the fastest, and highest rate increases in American history. Some state tuitions went up by as much as a WHOPPING! 30% in one year.

The reason the Bush McCain administration did this was to force struggling working class kids into the military to pay for the sudden jump in tuition. Which was forced on them by the corrupt Bush McCain administration, and their corrupt Republican Governors, and republican controlled state legislatures.

See, Bush McCain had plans to get us into all these immoral, foolish, criminal, and unnecessary wars from the start. So they could use these wars to seize power, and later to get reelected. But, for their evil plan to work they needed more volunteer soldiers struggling to pay for an education whose blood they could spill to help them seize more power. Remember Bush McCain's "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" theatrics.

The exploitation, and lost lives of these finest Americans is despicable, disgusting, immoral, corrupt and criminal. And it makes me SICK, and ANGRY!

You will have to vote for Obama, and the democrats in overwhelming numbers to overcome the Bush McCain vote fraud machine. Vote early if you can. Then help your fellow Americans cast their votes now, and on through election day. Vote for Obama, and the democrats like your life, and the lives of your loved ones depends on it. Because it does. You will not survive 4 more years of "Let Them Eat Cake" Bush McCain, and their republican allies.

Just look at the mess we have now.

You can fix this mess with your votes for Obama, and the democrats. And REMEMBER, no matter which of us may stumble or fall, the rest of you must continue to surge forward for Barack Obama, and the democrats, and for your-selves most of all. The children, and the World are counting on us.
