Why are so many Republican responses nothing more than divisive name calling rants?

Has the Republican Party run out of ideas? Or has Rove just totally destroyed the hope of the party of Reagan?

I believe Ronald Reagan would be truly ashamed of how the party he rebuilt after Nixon/Watergate is once again responsible for historic damage to our country and our fellow citizens.

I rarely read a blog supporting McCain/Palin which isn't extremely negative, hateful, filled with lies, accusations or just plain sexual innuendo or other nonsense. Are these people serious about being taken seriously??? Everyone should be able to support their candidate but the McCain supporters hardly do credit to their cause or even respect their own candidates. I have read many vile references to Obama & Biden and even back to Palin written by McCain/Palin supporters. It seems the right wing so-called Christian conservatives are overjoyed with a rotten economy, no plans and pimping out their Vice President candidate... I have never regretted my decision to leave the Republican Party simply because MY PRESIDENT, Ronald Wilson Reagan would have never been seen with the Republicans of today!!! President Reagan defeated the Soviets without firing a shot while these idiots shoot without aiming!!!

If this is the best that America can do, come up with these two candidates, then there isn't much hope for the country. What has happened to such a great nation of yesteryear? Is it the mixing of so many different races, creeds and now weak minds of sheep? Is this an abomination of the "American cocktail"? or just the poor standards of learning in schools? What is it that is doing in this country. Can anyone explain it? Too much liberty, to many followers and no leaders of character, of too much democracy, too many undesirables let in or is it the destiny of a modern-day Rome or Athens? Too many ignorant people about the past, such as fascism or communism? Or is it the transfer of technology and labor to China, India and some other smaller ones? Who is going to answer all these questions?...

War and Economics

No one likes war, expect the radicals who are unbalanced and have lost their way, we have had two wars in the Bush years. One was uncalled for, true! But the Afgan war was for justice. Have we forgotten 9-11? Historically, wars are good for the economy. The reason we are in the economic mess we are in now, isn't because of Bush. I'm tired of the Dem's BLAMING Bush. Look at a video on "You Tube" that clearly shows the Repbulicans questioning the Dems about the housing and financial regulations that THEY promoted for years since Jimmy Carter's days. It is evident which party got us into this mess. If you have half a brain, it's obvious. Actually, it makes the spending on the Iraq war look like a cake walk Let's put the BLAME where it really belongs. I fault the Republican for not bring this to light more than they have. Of course, the liberial media, ABC, CBS & NBC will not do their job and inform the public of the truth. WHY IS THAT? FOX new seems to be the only fair and balanced media on air.

We owe it to ourselves to look at other countries that have gone the same way. Mexico had the same problem with the economy. Chavez ran on a platform of CHANGE, NOW LOOK AT THEM! 30% inflation, rich are richer, poor are poorer, no variety in the stores.

Censorship of the airwaves. No freedom of speech, if you speak out, you loose your job and get black balled. Wait, Hollywood and the liberal media is already doing that for Obama.

Is this the CHANGE we really want? Under an all Democrat regime, we will become the next THIRD WORLD country. The world can't afford it.

Let's elect Obama, let's just get it out of our system. Meanwhile, watch your 401k's. It will soon belong to the govenment. It really is funny to see so many people who have given up there right to think and look at the really important issues they face. Sure, embrace your Obama and all his socialist views and reforms that WILL take place if he is elected. Look who he surrounds himself with. He is part of the elite wealthy runners of the day. I hope you like to walk in step and like to wear the same khaki colored uniform (figurativley speaking of course unless people need clothing from the government as well as food) that they will surely and emphatically cause all to wear if they take control. And take control of YOU is what they intend to do. Maybe not the next four years but they will. One world bank? One world government? So, keep your dim bulbed brain in the sand and when its time to come out of the ground they will come by and tap you on the butt and tell you to move along no loitering.

Oh yeah, who did we say we trusted in thats on our money? That's right the same ONE who created the entire universe and the same ONE you/we kicked out of our schools and now our society. So where do you think our violence leaning and immoral society is heading? Utopia?? And what do you think will really happen to our country and the planet when the Almighty King and Creator steps in? The Republicans never seriously considered McCain as a potentially winning candidate. The GOP knew at this point with the super fiasco of the Bush administration that no candidate that they could present would be electable. They had to have someone running, but that's all. What the GOP will be hoping for is that Obama will fall flat on his face within the next four years, at which time they will present to the nation what they really will consider as presidential.
