Prospect of a new look to shape world history
My son, a SAP consultant was reccently in USA for official duty.
The husky black American taxi driver who drove him from NEW YORK airport to his place of work told him, ' Barack Obama wold change the world '.
I am an Indian, who researched at MIT in the sixties. I made a no of friends at that time. I participated in various programmes in Tagore Centennial at that time.
I know there is difference in USA regarding the outlook based on colour and cultural background.
I hope and pray that American people at large rise above the above-mentioned prejudices and in that case America would change the world towards better.Obama can not do anything if the Amaricans dont give him the impetus to do so.

I fail to see in this article where Muslim is mentioned. By the way just becayse your an Arab, (which Obama isn't) doesn't mean your Muslim; perhaps you should read more often. Since when does 'race' matter in the United States, land of the Free(dom including religion), unless of course you are a racist. Which by the way it is the year 2008 and we should have enough intelligent people in this world by now but it appears that we do not, since racism still exists. Refer to one FACT that Obama is in FACT a Muslim or in FACT a socialist. I want FACTS!!!!!! Not theorys from a politician or TV.

Change is coming
1. Is there a nation in history in which Socialism has worked? (Yes, if you listen to Obama and read the Manifesto, you know he is a Socialist.)
2. Since he has announced that the Constitution is inadequate because it has no Socialist princples, does that indicate that he wishes to dramatically change the Constitution?
3. If he in fact tries to change the Constitution does that present a danger from "an enemy foreigh or domestic"?
4. If the above is true he cannot morally take the oath of office.
5. If 3. is true does that require every serviceman who took an oath "to defend and protect the Constitution agaist all enemies, foreign and domestic." to attempt to unseat Obama from the Office of the President by any means?
6. Do you really want to give the money you earned to someone who is too lazy or stupid to get a job?
Why is Iraq still being called a Quagmire?
I'm still seeing here and on other web articles the Iraq campaign being called a "quagmire".
Why is this?
The last news release I recall seeing shows that 12 of the 18 provinces are now under the direct control of the Iraqi Army and the local police. I was especially impressed when the rather large al Anbar muhafazah (province) was turned over.
As for American deaths, this year their have been 281 in all of Iraq (from icasualtiesDOTorg/oif/) compared to 291 murders in just the city of Chicago (from chicagoistDOTcom/2008/08/07/chicagos_murder_rate_up.php).
