I voted for Barack Obama because, quite frankly, Mr. McCain is obviously living in the past, his VP scares the crap out of me, and he's a racist/homophobe (well documented) with a piss poor human rights record.

I also believe that the Iraq War needs to stop ASAP, and McCain seems all too willing to let the insanity there continue.

The economy has taken a life of it's own, and McCain is wrong there too...

McCain's plan: Tax relief is NOTHING.

Obama's plan: Tax relief is $500.

And even worse, McCain's tax plan makes Bush's tax cuts for the gazillionaires permanent, and leaves the loopholes and tax havens wide open for them.

Barack Obama will appoint extremely liberal supreme court justices if elected. The last right to bear arms supreme court case was decided by a 5-4 vote. One vote the other way and Americans woul;d lose the right to keep arms to defend themselves and their families. With a Democrat majority in the congress and Barack Obama for a president, we will become another socialist failing country. They believe in a welfare state where the government controls EVERYTHING. I am afraid the number of people wanting a free handout from the government has finally exceeded those of us that want to provide for ourselves by hard work and have freedom from the government. Though McCain is not the candidate I want on the Republican ticket, I surely prefer him over a cocain using, pro-terrorist, pro-socialist, anti-American military novice with no experience. When all is said and done and the negative attacks are over, what could McCain offer? If he doesn't have confidence in his policies and ideas enough to talk about, that means all he has is negative attacks about people,places, and ideals that cause fear. Being as these polls are slanted and skewed to reflect the candidate of choice by the media (CNN in particular ) It doesn't surprise me in the least that Obama is up by 9 points. If you get 10 people in a room and ten are democrats and one republican you'll get the same result. Wonder what that poll will reflect after the international incident?
