I think, definitely, that we do need better teachers and some education reform. By the way, I am a teacher, and I do believe that McCain has more to offer education than does Obama.

Obama a Christian

You've really got to be kidding if you are a devout Christian and can believe in Obama. He has said that to judge whether an unborn baby is a human being is above his paygrade. He has supported abortion at every turn, including 4 times to vote against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act which tries to protect those poor children who are aborted, yet born alive. Right now in certain hospitals in Chicago, these children are left to die, sometimes in laundry rooms. This is the act of a Christian??? Not in my book. When questioned about his vote, he stated that if a woman came in for an abortion, she deserved a dead baby. It is unbelievable in America, where the rights of criminals are championed, that babies are killed indiscriminately.

Besides, maybe none of us make $250,000/year, but how are we supposed to trust that that number won't go lower in the future. The promise of Democrats is to raise taxes, not lower them. Wake up, people.

Are 40%of Americans blind and deaf?

It certainly seems that just under half of the american population doesn't see of hear what's really going on. They also seem to have lost their moral sense of direction. I am a 37 year old devout Cristian, who was brought up in a methodist church and find it inflamitory and ludacris that republicans act as though only they are christians and try to uphold the beliefs our country was founded on. The truth is they(the republicans) have turnrd our constitutional rights as well as religous beliefs into a mockery. Wake up America! do you not see obama fighting for the middle class, as well as the way the two candidates conduct themselves? Haven't you listened to both of the candidates plans for the nation? Or perhaps your like most that I see in my small town of mostly republican Griffin GA, who bash Obama, say he is a muslim, un-american, and other slurrs. When in reality they haven't informed themselves on the issues or the candidates. they are republican because that's how their family has always been and they were taught that Democrats are liberal beasts that want to take over the country. Hello-- isn't that what the republicans did for 6 years?

As far as taking working people money and spreading it around,I don't know many working class making a quarter of a million dollars a year, do you? Ineed help for me and my family, for my disabled mom on a fixed income, and after much prayer, Obama in my Christain heart of hearts is the one I feel is most sincere and for the people. I think Barack Obama showed what he is all about when he was talking to "Joe the Plumber." He mentioned spreading the wealth around. To me that means that he intends to take money from those who work hard to earn a decent living to give to those who do not work. There has to be a better way to do this. I have also seen his record on voting against rights of gun owners to keep and bear arms. EVERY vote he made was against that right, even to the point of not supporting the Supreme Court ruling in the Heller decision just this year. The man is a dangerous socialist who, if trying to apply for a lower government position, would not be able to get the security clearance.

Demorcrates for McCain

Please America vote for McCain a man that has a tried and true record. He is a strong leader and has proven himself time and time again. If Obama thinks small businesses making 250,000 a year need to be hit up harder I can tell you that is a huge mistake. He not only wants to burden us with more taxes but a mandated health care plan the government feels is appropriate. Being in a small family business that is in a shopping center of other local small business owners they would be hit hard by this proposal. Can you say business closer? Obama's lack of voting on issues is worrisome (not what real leaders do) his alignment in support for late term abortions is horrific (who in their right mind would support this?) Obama also kept shaking his head in agreement to the voucher system for public schools, he knows McCain's ideas are right. He's gotten a lot of money injected to his champaign (He's gonna owe big corporations because they own him now) I was thrilled McCain showed emotion I need someone to show emotion over the troubled state this country is in. My Dad and I are both long term democrats voting for McCain.. All the way!!

WATCH OUT FOR VOTER SUPPRESSION TACTICS FROM THE GOP

The GOP (in Florida) is trying to suppress voter turnout by calling people on the phone and telling them they can vote for Obama by dialing a number, where a voice tells them "Thank you for supporting Barack Obama" and then the person thinks they have voted and stays home on election day. DON'T FALL FOR IT, and check ahead of time with your county board of registrars to make sure some GOP staffer hasn't had you dropped from the list of registered voters. This is called "Caging" and it's another dirty trick to disenfranchise the poor and minorities.

Republicans for Obama

Yeah, McCain came out fighting. And most of us like to see that spunk, but after a while he just seemed irate, too emotional. Barack remained cool and collected, even under constant attack. I think that's a really important quality in a guy thats running for president. I think the nation will be a lot safer under Obama. We don't need another cowboy (or 'maverick') in the White House. Also, I really resent McCain's insincere concern for Joe the Plumber. I'm tired of the Republicans acting like they really care for all the regular Joes and then giving all the big tax breaks to the rich - the Extremely Rich. The fact is I will pay less taxes with Obamas plan, and unless you make over 250,000 a year, you will pay less tax with Obama as well. So why do the Republicans keep acting like they're the good guys when it comes to taxes????
