Campaign 2008

Hillary Clinton Has Emerged as a Vigorous Obama Booster on Campaign Trail

The New York senator has stumped for Obama in key swing states

Posted October 15, 2008

Hillary Clinton isn't getting much national news coverage these days, but she appears to be following through on her pledge to help Barack Obama win the White House by campaigning aggressively for him across the country.

A review by U.S. News finds that she has stumped for Obama and other Democratic candidates in important swing states in recent weeks, including Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado.

On Sunday, Hillary and former President Bill Clinton campaigned with Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden in Scranton, Pa., where Biden spent part of his boyhood.

Her office has announced that she will attend tonight's presidential debate at Hofstra University in New York in solidarity with Obama and Biden.

Clinton says Obama, who defeated her for the Democratic presidential nomination, is "talking about what people are talking about," especially the economy, and offering "sensible solutions." Republican candidate John McCain and vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin, Clinton says, are offering "the same old tired, failed Republican policies."

In an interview with CBS this week, she added that "Bill and I are trying to do everything we are asked to do." She predicted a "great victory on November 4" for Obama and Biden.

Follow Hillary's Lead --- Vote Obama

I was a Hillary supporter. But had no problems switching to support (and donate to) Obama. From the beginning Hillary & Barack were about 95% in-sync on the issues. McCain is way off base.

Hillary, and Bill, are out there on their campaign trail working hard to elect Obama. They know this is best for America. I think Hillary supporters who do not support her in this are disrespecting her. How anyone could say that they are 100% behind Hillary and then vote for McCain or not vote at all, is astounding to me.

As to those who say Obama isn't giving her adequate attention, this is crazy. I've never seen a candidate who has said more positive things about their primary opponent than what Obama has said about Hillary. He has praised her time and time again. He has invited and embraced her as part of the campaign. He's helped her raise millions of dollars to retire her campaign debt. He has gone well beyond anything I've ever seen before, and yet people say they want more. They are asking for too much.

barack obama

This Presidential election in US has attracted world attention to a degree never before, Americans shoukd realise that is highly significant because all nations rise and fall and America's commenced on th edate of 9/11 ...

I find it incomprehensible that any American could choose to vote for McCain as he represents everything that is wrong about America, maybe this is easier to see from outside,

Obama thinks for himself and has gathered real facts from which to develop policies, the truth is that Americans have to look at unpalatable reality and swallow some unpleasant changes, they would never do this with McCain and the downward spiral would continue, Obama brings a chance ....

Who will be the next USA president ?

I have been following for some time with great enthusiam the USA prsidential runs featuring both Sen.Obama and Sen.McCain as a non-partisan observer from the side line.. Both are equally qualified in all respects. Yet, it seems to me the choice is pretty obvious.. Sen. Obama is the better candidate. The endorsement by ex-secretary of the state, Gen. Collin Powell, i believe, speaks for the silent majority of the USA voters, and cursory to the impending results for the Nov.4., Choose wisely, Americans!
