"real news please
Is David Axelrod on staff at US News and World Report?
Good grief, someone address the fact that in just three years, Obama has gotten more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than all but one other legislator have in 20 years...why?
The democrats killed the 2006 attempt to regulate Fannie and Freddie that would have averted this disaster.
Clinton signed the 1999 bill which did away with the regulations that were enacted after the depression to avoid another"
Please US News & World Report, put your country first!!!!!
McCain-Palin will be held accountable.
If, God forbid, anyone of the nut cases supporting McCain-Palin, should decide to cause bodily harm to Barack Obama, I feel McCain and Palin should be held legally accountable. After inciting the mob in Ohio to call Barack Obama a terrorist with calls from the crowd, to "Kill Him", what does Caribou Barbie do, you betcha, she smiled.
The name Adolph goes back in my husband's family for many, many generations. I can assure you, none of the is or ever was a Nazi. How ignorant can these people be. That scares me even more than Sarah Palin in the White House.
How is it they can readily believe a woman whose own husband was in a group to secede Alaska from the Union. Unbelievable!!

Obama is not scary Becky, Maria, whatever...
Scary is McCain winning, getting a heart attack in the celebration and Palin first action is to allow her friends in Alaska to break away from the US, then outlawing all govt funds for libraries that carry books on her "no go dude" list.
The world is confused about america
I'm not in the states right now. So I have been watching things from an international perspective. Here's what the world is saying about us. They love Obama and think he would make a great president. They think Mc Cain is very very old and is about to drop before he starts another war. Palin they think is hilarious in the way she puts down Obama for being educated.
Someone asked me if Obama went to germany and gave a speech where 300 000 germans came to here him speak in English, this would be good because it means that the world was excited and would want to work with Obama on issues important to the us.
So they were really confused that the Mc Cain campaign was able to belittle this preview of the kind of cooperation the US could get with Obama leading. They made it look stupid and gave the impression that Obama was arrogant because he gave a speech. What a pity.
Today I saw on CNN images of Palin saying terrible things about Obama and reports of someone in her crowd shouting "kill him!"
That is really scary. The world is watching and two opinions are coming out. 1 that americans are racist and will not pick Obama because of his race even though he seems the better candidate and 2 that America is on the edge of a rebirth after 8 terrible years with a great young leader.
so I will do my little part by getting home in time to do my little part to help change!

The second Glass-Steagall Act, passed on 16 June 1933, and officially named the Banking Act of 1933, introduced the separation of bank types according to their business (commercial and investment banking), and it founded the Federal Deposit Insurance Company for insuring bank deposits. Literature in economics usually refers to this simply as the Glass-Steagall Act, since it had a stronger impact on US banking regulation. The bill that ultimately repealed the Act was introduced in the Senate by Phil Gramm (R-TX) and in the House of Representatives by James Leach (R-IA) in 1999. It was a veto proof bill.Phil Gram is a part of the McCain network. Mr. McCain will temporarily let him go but he cannot let him go permanently. They are a gang. Our enemies in the world will certainly Vote republican. Look what they did to our country.

But it IS patriotic to pay taxes!!
Hey OldGuy of Texas-
I love my roads, my public schools, libraries, driver's license, worker's comp, parks, my parents' medicare, etc.
And they're all there because of our taxes!
Who hates America?
"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government."
Pop quiz!
Who said that?
"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government," Vogler, the founder of Alaskan Independence Party, said in a 1991 interview, in which he talked extensively about his desire for Alaskan secession, the key goal of the AIP.
Palin has courted the group over the years.
She has repeatedly reached out to the group. The McCain campaign has confirmed she visited the group's 2000 convention, and she addressed its convention this year, as an incumbent governor whose oath of office includes upholding the Constitution of the United States.
Palin's husband, Todd Palin, was a member of the party from 1995-2002 with a brief exception in 2000.
Sarah Palin palling around with secessionists:

Why is that not making ANY news?!
That lady has nerve talking about Ayers.....
Seriously, where is the headline news on this stuff? Talk about guilt by association!
That Vogler guy takes the cake for any "anti-American" sentiments.
And Sarah wasn't six years old when she spoke, what, like three times at their conventions?!
Where is the honor...where did America go?
When this race started, I thought it was between two intelligent and honorable men that had different ideas but that in general, both had the country's ciizen's well being at heart.
As it has progressed I see one man continuing to try and find ways to improve our current economic situation, get us out of a war that should never have been started, and restore the United States to a power to be admired; while the other spends his time throwing complete muck and low ball pitches, hoping to bring the other down to his pathetic level. This shows no honor. It is at the least very disheartening and at the worst a complete insult to voters. I understand he thinks his bigger goal of winning the white house justifys his means, but it does not.
For the US to be viable again, we need to re-achieve a bell curve econimically. We need a low number of the population at or below poverty level, an incredibly high amount of the population solidly in the middle class and again a relatively low amount of people considered "the rich".....This is what illustrates a country's strength. The republican party has never truly understood this and some how think that more rich people at the top of the economic food chain is a good thing.
It is more and more clear everyday that McCain and others like him truly "don't get it" and while he's throwing pitches in the dirt hoping for Obama to take a swing.....let's help elect Barack Obama president of the United States.
Ignorance is not the answer
I hear every one saying that there are questionable things that we should know about Obama.
What would they be ?...... He knew William Ayres... they served on the same board.....
Why is everyone trying to create a relationship where there is none. John McCain and his hooker Sarah are trying so hard to scare you..... I am scared of PALIN TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH.
Her speeches are starting to sound like Hitler's..
