John McCain Calls Barack Obama 'That One' During Debate: Was It Rude or Not?

Obama
Obama is amazing! He is wise beyond his years, as demonstrated by the way he is handling these baseless lies and ridicule. He demonstrates grace, like a wise parent who's child is acting out. If maturity not age were the determinate, McCain would be considered the younger. We need someone wise and intelligent in the White House. I personally am hungry for it. Obama has my vote!!
DISREPECT
ANYONE WHO HAS EYES TO SEE CAN SEE THAT JOHN MCCAIN SHOWED DISRESPCET FOR OBAMA. IT IS PLAIN AS DAY THAT MCCAIN SHOWS LESS LEADERSHIP ABILITY. LEADERS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RESPECTABLE AND SHOW IT.I WANT TO THANK OBAMA FOR SHOWING LEADERSHIP ABILITY AND HAVE MADE ME VERY PROUD AS A BLACK PERSON. WE HAVE TACT.
That One
Maybe McCain was using it as endearment...Geez, people want to read so much into stuff when it comes to getting people elected. Obama was a gentleman and was poised and rang true, while McCain has this "let her rip" style. But, "that one" has been used with me before, not to condescend, but to distinguish me from others out of not being like everyone else in a positive way.
Pride and Prejudice!
Mc Cain has been very consistent with his arrogant disdain for Obama which has manifested in his vicious anger from day one. He feels a sense of entitlement to the presidency because he fits the picture of an old white man. He is not the only POW and he is not the best or highest achieving POW. He has enjoyed the rights of a POW so far but I am sure our lives, future and that of the rest of the world should not be tied to a dead weight like this erratic and dangerous gambler called Mc Cain. Obama may never seek his prejudiced and arrogant advice as President because they are antiquated, outdated, dangerous, greedy and too blood-thirsty for a peaceful and prosperous world.
Mc Cain must throw in the towel now because no matter how insightfully racist he and his vindictive, liar Palin get he will not find any innocent blood to spill on the streets of the USA. Mc Cain, your political career is over with your choice of an idiot like Palin as VP. It is not your birthright and we cannot become victims to your lack of judgement, racism and utter stupidity. Go and take a long nap in your many homes!
That one...?
I feel John McCain is loosing his cool. If he hasn't lost it already. He seems to be less and less able to logically address the issues and solutions of our country. He does remind me of Bush reguardless of anything he says, because he did vote with Bush 90% of the time. I believe he's a patriot, and a good american. However it will take more than that to earn my vote.
It looks like he's so wrapped up with attacting Obama that he's become disingenious to the issues that every American is facing. In the meantime, I really like how calm and cool Obama seems to be. In my opinion, Obama is more in touch with "todays America". He seems to look very presidential to me...
"that one"
I, too, am voting for "that one"! I do not think the remark was an intentional put-down of Obama, but it does hint of an attitude of deference on the part of McCain.
I don't think it was disrespecful. I was just pointing out one of the many things Obama is spinning to make hime look good to the voters based on the data collected on his website. That's all his campaign is; find out what the voters care about, how they feel about the issue, and find a way to make Obama look like a supporter for which ever group he is talking to. That tactic was used for Kerry and didn't work. What makes Obama think it will work this time? Pretty soon people will see how fake his campaign is. To Tanya of CA, it's "I cant' wait to finally have a president who looks, ACTS and SPEAKS 'presidential.'"
That one
I AM VOTING FOR "THAT ONE". SENATOR McCAIN, YOU NEED SOME LESSONS IN GOOD MANNERS.
"that one"
It is completely acceptable to me even though I think it is an utterly rude way to address your senator colleaque as long as Barack wins the election , that`s just fine .
That one
I thought it was rude and disrespectful to call your opponent "that one". If McCain wants to be a president of the United States, he needs to always be in control and not show his anger and frustration in public. This episode shows that McCain is bad at controlling himself. I can't wait to finally have a president who looks, act and speak "presidential"
