U.S. DON"T CARE

As a Republican. I don't care what people say, when the economy is jacked up as it is right now, I don’t give a flying fig who controls the Presidency. McCain’s views is killing my family business. I can’t take this Bull anymore. I work too hard to let a fickle minded man who doesn’t have the commend since to pick a person who speak a sentence without memorizing it. This is ridiculous!! My family sacrificed and worked too hard to be where I am at right now!! I don’t need a dim witted Barbie doll to help a senile old man who wants to obtain brownie points!! My family and life is on the line here, I can’t afford to pay my mortgage this month and I’m a builder!! I’m at the point in my life where time is running out for me. Forget McCain, I’m sick of looking at him, he has contributed to this era. As far as I am concerned, the color of the green (economy) trumps the color of Black. My family is hurting, and I’m tired of the greedy CEO’s on Wall Street taking our money to bail them out!!

disrespect?

i feel that if people believe that this was disrespect, they obviously weren't paying attention to the fact that throughout the first debate obama referred to mccain as john, and mccain reffered to obama most every time as Senator obama, just shows the level of respect he has for his opposing candidate. and obama ist just immature about bashing the republican party when he speaks.

reform

Charlie you are not going to get any reform from McCain just more of the same old Bush ideas. Not a new idea in his head. You republicians will defend a dead horse all the way to the glue factory

I hate democrats

elizabeth newberry it is no wonder that you see no disrespect in what mccain said to obama because you seem to have a lack of respect yourself ,to hate millions of people that you dont know...sounds more like a serious case of immaturity on your part

mccain leader

debbie of md where have you been the 6 years before the dems. took controll ...if you think the economy was good you must have been living in a different md.erlich showed me what your party can do when he doubled my tags and put his flush tax on everyone but i guess you must rent and dont have to pay it.I live in carroll co. which is 100 percent rep.controlled and my property taxes go up every year and are to a point that so called middle income people like myself can hardly pay them.oh the gas prices you can ly at the koor of your oil men buddies bush and cheney.

Robert wake up and smell the coffee our money is already been taken and handed to lazy ,greedy corrupt millionaires on wall street.Your buddies the rep. have been in power for yaers now and wanted more deregulation so now let them take credit for this mess.

that one

I feel like McCains use of That One could be considered as what we have often heard referring to Race, not just race but THE BLACK RACE. I'm sure that they are trying very hard to make excuses for McCains disrespectful remark, but for those of us who saw and heard know just how that remark was meant. So many times people speak without thinking, and that has been one of McCains biggest problems.

that one

politics are ugly and get more so when one person starts to fall behind, just look at some of the comments people are making on some of these sites, and not about the candidate but to others who express a view that does not favor their candidate. This sites comments are very mild as compared to some I have been reading, with name calling of not only the candidates but of fellow users of the site that submit opinions that differ from their own.I was a Clinton supporter and was not happy with the choices after the primaries,I even thought I may vote for McCain at one point, but he pretty much lost my vote when he picked Palin,a woman who wants to set women back 100 years with her far from the middle of the road ideas on abortion. This issue has been debated to death most women want it kept legal and safe so lets please finally let it rest in peace.I dont know if race motivated McCain to use "that one" but maybe desperation if he felt he wasnt faring well in the debate.Does anyone remember when Bush Sr. was losing the race against Clinton and Gore?He was making a speech on tv and lost it and refered to Gore as "The Ozone Man".No matter what the motovation you do nor refer to people as that .This term is reserved for objects. In view of all I have heard and read lately I have decided not to stay home from the polls this year and will be supporting Obama, someone has to try to get us out of this mess and experience in D.C or better the lack there of is probably what we need. This is what they have advisors for and I dont think an untrained monkey could do any worse than Bush has
