Blowing in the wind (sorry Bob D)

Obama has been seen a couple of times with a bloody idealist

Mc was part of the Keaton 5 (Saving and loans) - economy

Mc was part of a group affiliated with the Reagan administration and later tied to the Iran-Contra fiasco.

Mc was instrumental in CA Fort Belvoir transition fiasco, cronies got the go ahead

Mc supports war in Iraq for false pretenses, Obama does not.

Obama changes opinion as events dictate? Only a fool sticks to his gun when confronted with bigger guns. Adapt or die, get a bigger gun. Mc likes his mud-slingshot.

Mc wants to be above everyone and 'stops' his campaigning to deal with the economic bail out? This was not a 'campaigning gimmick'?

Mc did not even comprehend that the first 'no' was the only possible result. The fast sinking of stocks afterward worried the public so much that no one made a reservation against it the second time around. Why? It was the only way to get the US public on the band wagon, scare the crap out of them!!! (Oh yeah - Did you see how neatly some tax exemption was added? Let’s help the corporate word and make sure some do not feel the sting. National interest goes only so far).

Mc wants to act ‘presidential’ to be seen as a reformer, a maverick. Nothing is further from the truth, even his selection of a VP is a gimmick. Nothing in this candidate is to be trusted.

Yeah, we can compare and see where the wind blows. Being behind Mc means having to wear a gas mask to survive…

I simply think McCain has already seen the handwriting on the wall and like the biblical woman before King Solomon would prefer to drag Obama down with him than to see a more credible candidate(whose guts I think he hates)win. But then the reality check is for the American people.

Thoughts for undecided persons

Umm, Jojotwins, not to argue with you , but the Lincoln Savings collapse cost taxpayers Billions, not millions. And it cost many families their life savings.

SEN. MCCAIN WAS FOUND IN THE EHTICS INVESTIGATION IN CONGRESS TO HAVE "POOR JUDGMENT".

The Savings & Loan crash was caused by deregulation permitted by President Reagan. The current crisis is caused by deregulation and lack of oversight, which Sen. McCain criticizes.

SEN. MCCAIN STILL SUPPORTS DEREGULATION AND WANTS TO DEREGULATE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES.

INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND EXPECTING A DIFFERENT RESULT.

or

"those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it."

SO, "looking backward" is very important if you want to understand how you got here and where you go next. If you don't understand how you got here, how can you ever understand how to fix it? If a car runs out of gas and you change the battery, it still wont run. You have to understand the problem before you can solve it. Even if Gov. Palin says otherwise.

Gov. Palin, I have a problem. Fix it. Your options are limited:

(a) say no. You dont know the problem, cannot address it.

(b) give me money. Great for me - for now.

(c) learn about the problem - its HISTORY, perhaps solve it.

(d) proclaim that you are a "maverick" and ignore me.

When will Obama STICK with his issues???

He keeps changing his stance on issues so often that it is really hard to keep up. Too bad that the Democrats are up in arms over questioning Barack about his close friends and campaign contributors. His supporters don't like any questions about his background at all. He has never really made decisions on his job, just voted present, but he has asked for pork 95% of his time in attendance. McCain at least has the backbone to vote one way or the other and has requested 0 pork. I like Palin because she calls it like she sees it. Hillary really had some positive things to say about Palin so I can just see her in that booth voting for McCain.

When is McCain Going to Speak on "His" Issues ????

I am so sick and tired of John McCain and Sarah Palin attacking Barack Obama! I have not heard one word as to how the McCain administration is going to pay for health care, clean energy, fix our broken economy or compete with international countries on education??? I beleive he doesn't have a clue...nor does Sarah Palin. The first thing she did when McCain announced her as his VP pick..was attack Michele Obama..WHY??? Please take notice of everytime there is to be a debate, McCain has an escape clause...or he makes some big announcement...I think he may be suffering from Bi-Polar Disorder..Will somebody give him some medicine?? PLEASE!!! I will never trust anybody who won't look me in the eye..what is he afraid of?? McCain is tired and give out!!! You will never be the President of the United States! Mark my words!! The writing is on the wall...Maybe you don't see it because you aren't looking! YOU TIME IS OVER!!

C-YA!!!!

Ignoring Edeldoug

Oh, I agree - he's drinking the kool aid and he's probably Karl Rove incognito. But don't ignore him, strike him down with the facts. It is not difficult to do. He's a bloviating blowhard, and he is very happy under the Faux News Rock he's hiding under, where all Republicans should get lock step behind McCain regardless of how they really feel about him.

All you have to say to this guy is "Follow the Money." McCain participated in a scandal for five years that cost taxpayers millions! Just like he's doing today. Don't believe for a minute that McCain wasn't very close with Keating. He and his wife spent time at Keating's villa and went on his private jet, and so on and so on, at Keating's expense, and McCain filled his coffers with cash.

First, this from the totally republican National Review's Mark Levin, oh - oops, wait a minute! It's from 2001, when Republicans hated John McCain for a very good reason!!! Mark, how often are you mentioning this article on your radio show?

"John McCain would be hung by his own standards:" http://www.nationalreview.com/contributors/levin040501.shtml

Then, this from Wikipedia:

"McCain and Keating had become personal friends following their initial contacts in 1981,[11] and McCain was the only one of the five with close social and personal ties to Keating.[35][36] Like DeConcini, McCain considered Keating a constituent as he lived in Arizona.[28] Between 1982 and 1987, McCain had received $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates.[37] In addition, McCain's wife Cindy McCain and her father Jim Hensley had invested $359,100 in a Keating shopping center in April 1986, a year before McCain met with the regulators. McCain, his family, and their baby-sitter had made nine trips at Keating's expense, sometimes aboard Keating's jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Keating's opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay. McCain did not pay Keating (in the amount of $13,433) for some of the trips until years after they were taken, when he learned that Keating was in trouble over Lincoln.[7][38] In 1989 Phoenix New Times writer Tom Fitzpatrick opined that McCain was the "most reprehensible" of the five senators.[39]"

Okay, I've had enough. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

sham debate

John McCain is used to force the election of Barack Obama.

Barack Obama forced you to pay for Wall Street's bailout.

Stop the extortion, blackmail, bribery, and division;

Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, and Cynthia McKinney.

"The two parties should be

almost identical, so that

the American people can

'throw the rascals out'

at any election without

leading to any profound or

extensive shifts in policy."

- Carol Quigley

ignore Edeldoug

This guy keeps posting th esame crap on every site--just ignore him. McCain's connections to Keating and Liddy are much more documented and real than Obama and Ayers--and leave the Reczko and ACORN connection alone already--it's done, dead and should be buried, you Hannity clone.

McCain/Palin and the republican party seem to believe that if they continually reiterate a lie that somehow the American will come to believe it. Even after the lie has been exposed and denounced in the media and factchecks, they continue... do they think we are stupid? They must - Palin seems to think we all speak with dog-gone-its and winks. Is that how she will represent the United States in a negotiation. The recent remarks against Obama are the republicans believing that once again, their fear tactics will force the American people to vote their way. Their character assassination and accusations are desperate measures from desperate politicians… have they scared you? The biggest fear should be McCain/Palin getting into office. I use to respect McCain. I can not respect a man that takes the American people for such fools. Palin is simply a mouthpiece parroting what she is told to parrot.

Palin building a lynch mob

In Palin's Clearwater appearance, she whooped her followers into an anti-media frenzy, then pointed to the press area as an outlet for their rage. Soon the crowd showed its true colors, shouting racial epithets at an African-American sound technician in the press area and shouting "Sit down, boy!" at him. What if they had injured him? What would she say? It's not her responsibility that her followers are savages? How can you be proud of her?
