Not so innocent...

As far as the "Keating Five" scandal:

John McCain was cleared of said crime.

So was O.J. Simpson.

Those in the know understand the judicial red-tape involved with this case. McCain was Keatings closest friend of the "five", and certain "favors" were given to one another via thier positions. McCain was not an innocent party. He was simply judiciously cleared. Not the same thing...

Angry and Mad

tonight, mccain was angry, angry ,angry, mad, mad, mad.

how can we enrust the affairs of this nation to an angry mad man.

I am so dissapointed.

For me, this is the straw.I cannot see myself voting for obama so I am taking a vacation

McCain's temperment

After the debate and everybody was shaking hands, Sen Obama extended his hand to McCain and McCain looked the other way and did not shake his hand. You could see that McCain is so angry that he acts like a pouty little kid. Imagine if he was president and acted like that and didn't get his way. Scary.

Four More years of McCain?

Just watched the the second McCain-Obama debate, and it's late, and need to get the kiddies to bed. The story I'm going to read them?

"The Angry Old Troll Who Lives Under The Bridge To NOWHERE".

Four More Years of watching The Angry, Cynical Troll finishing what Bush started?

It's the easiest vote decision I have ever made.

Obama Was On Point Tonight

I feel that Obama did a great job in the debate tonight. He has real leadership skills and is in touch with the American people and what is going on with our economy. McCain is out of touch and definitely "doesnt get it". This country needs a fresh new outlook on things and that is Obama,

One Minute

After watching this debate, I'm struck by the reality that I can't trust Obama with one minute - a promise that he agreed to keep - much less our economy or security.

Obama/McCain debate

Sen Obama wins the debate! All I heard from the debate is McCain still stating the same old lies from the last debate. I guess when you get as old as him, you start to forget things. McCain is showing his age and temperment.

McCAIN: Said one way out of the financial crisis is to "stop sending $700 billion a year to countries that don't like us."

THE FACTS: Although he didn't spell it out, he was referring — as he has in the past — to purchases of oil from countries hostile to the U.S. The figure is inflated and misleading. The U.S. is not spending nearly that much on oil imports and roughly one-third of what it does spend goes to friendly countries such as Canada, Mexico and Britain.

McCAIN: Said he would provide a $5,000 refundable tax credit for families to buy health insurance "rather than mandates or fines for small businesses as Senator Obama's plan calls for."

THE FACTS: Obama's health care plan does not impose mandates or fines on small business. He would provide small businesses with a refundable tax credit of up to 50 percent on health premiums paid on behalf of their employees. Also, large employers that do not offer meaningful coverage or contribute to the cost of coverage would be required to pay a percentage of payroll toward the costs of a public insurance plan. But small businesses would be exempt from that requirement

McCAIN: Said Obama had voted for tax increases "94 times."

THE FACTS: This inflated count, heard before, includes repetitive votes as well as votes to cut taxes for the middle class while raising them on the rich. An analysis by factcheck.org found that 23 of the votes were for measures that would have produced no tax increase at all, seven were in favor of measures that would have lowered taxes for many, 11 would have increased taxes on only those making more than $1 million a year.

McCAIN: Said Obama supported a congressional earmark of "$3 million for an overhead projector at a planetarium in Chicago, Ill. My friends, do we need to spend that kind of money?"

THE FACTS: McCain's phrase suggests Obama spent $3 million on an old-fashioned piece of office equipment that projects charts and text on a wall screen. In fact, the money was for an overhaul of the theater system that projects images of stars and planets for educational shows at Chicago's Adler Planetarium. When he announced the $3 million earmark last year, Obama said the planetarium's 40-year-old projection system "has begun to fail, leaving the theater dark and groups of school students and other interested museum-goers without this very valuable and exciting learning experience."

McCain is not my friend!

Switch My Vote

I watched the Debate and my vote has switched...I'm for McCain. Obama is a great speaker I will give him that but he cannot run our country. McCain is not another Bush, he is his own man and unless I see something more in the debates I trust him. I have been following all the statements each have argued and McCain tells the truth Obama doesn't, that is what it comes down to for me. Peace and hope

Old poor McCain... is he fit to become the POTUS?

First, is is it true that he puts 'Country First'? I highly doubt so when you look at his hail mary gimmick - Gov Palin. Placing that laughingstock on the ticket shows he puts 'Campaign First', not his country.

Second, Gov Palin brings me to the second point about his judgment - if he truly believes she's qualified to run this country, then it brings into question about whether McC has the judgment to be the POTUS. Gov Palin has proven through several interviews that she's charming, but not very much else. She couldn't even form coherent sentences and if she becomes the VP then the US will be a thing of a joke for the rest of the world. Come on - it's evident she know nothing. She goes onto talking about generalities when asked for specificities - she dodges questions and launches into pre-programmed talking points. When I see one, I know one - she's an airhead and not fit for a position in the high elected office.

McCain has everything to gain and Obama has everything to lose. Not a bad way to head into a debate if you are McCain. No wonder Obama has Axlerod running around threatening that Obama will go negative if he has to. Obama is obviously rattled because many of the available voters are only just now tuning into the election and he knows this election in their minds will be a referendum about him. They already know McCain and all his history.

Obama, cries out keating 5...like it is some type of justification for his own associations. Only his supporters will buy that crap.
