Sarah Palin Delivers Gaffe-Free Debate Performance Against Joe Biden

Despite her credible and confident showing, focus groups and polls show Biden won

Joe Biden did not win. That is propaganda from the Obama campaign. Although the questions were geared to Biden, Palin showed she could think and make the statements of which questions should have been asked. Gwen Ifill was definitely for Obama and everyone knew it. They caught a few looks she gave Palin and it was very telling.

VP

Palin showed she knew that the vice-president is the bridge between the White House and the Senate.

Biden Continues Streak of Verbal Gaffes

Doesn't Biden know what Article 1 of the Constitution covers?

Doesn't Biden know what the role of the vice-president is? That is, more than merely serve as a tie-breaking vote?

Why doesn't the "In the Tank with Obama" media jump on the verbal gaffes that Biden has been making?

Not a word on the plagiarism of Biden either!

Sarah Palin

AS a woman, I am so embarrassed to have my gender represented by someone who would stoop to winking and flirting during a vice presidential debate. I was actually waiting for her to flip her hair. How embarrassing her lack of knowledge and lack of decorum were. Please, America, don't vote for anyone who would place this sham within potential reach of the presidency of our nation.

The debate was awful

I would give Sara a C-, and I would give Joe a C-; I would give Gwen a D. What a terrible so-called debate. The questions were useless, but that's OK, because neither candidate answered even one question, and Gwen Ifel either didn't notice, didn't care, or had no clue as to how to moderate a debate. There has to be a dozen or more better ways for the public to hear the candidates than this.

Gov. Palin

A likable lady and I was thinking back in the fifties in high school I would invite her to go to a drive in movie, but never ask her to help me with my History homework.

Sarah: Not Ready for Prime Time

After 8 years under the Bush administration, our country has lost respect from others. Ms. Palin's cutesy, "folksy" way of speaking, winkin', flirtin' and droppin' her G's, is not the type of performance that Americans should expect, even demand, from its representatives. Evading questions is just more of the same corruption she says she is against and wants to clean out.

Ms. Palin studied her topics well and mastered the outline, but she failed to deliver a comprehensive UNDERSTANDING of those topics. We really do deserve better than this.

Palin, a flash in a pan

As time goes on the flash is wearing off if not gone.

She is all words not substance.

Washington Expletive

IN a world where the words "washington" and "politician" are expletives, we're comparing a fresh face against one of the most venerable Senators. The word "politician" is an expletive because of sound bites, political evasion, ignorance on the real issues while chasing votes, and abuses of power. But Biden does none of these: he has a reputation for putting his foot in his mouth precisely because he thinks while he talks to you, rather than having short talking points. Palin hasn't made it to Washington yet, but she showed herself to be one of the worst abusers of evasion, sound-bites, lack of homework... and her unwillingness to confront accusers head on about "Trooper-Gate" hasn't built much confidence on the last front.
