New Poll: Barack Obama Pulls Ahead of John McCain in 3 Key States

We need balance!

We do not want a very liberal Democrat in the White House when Congress is controlled by Democrats. We need balance between the two parties and need to put a Republican in the White House. It is not good for our country to have one party dominating and controlling two branches of our government. We need balance!

Ronald Reagan

I think that Sen,McCain is tring hard to sound like Ronald Reagon. Only Reagan was a great ACTOR not so with John McCain.

I hope the the American people see through his mask. And not let in the White House.

McCain gets my vote

I couldn't vote for a man whose demeanor strikes me as being an elitist. I wouldn't vote for anyone who would not consider pro-life as part of a woman's right. It's time to speak up for vlaues that so many liberals find so distasteful whereas I find their thoughts just as distasteful but they are so nasty and negative when others don't share their views. Just look and remember the things said about Palin and the few things mentioned about Obama and his affiliations with a few unsavory people. I can vote for McCain and Palin and feel proud that they will do the right thing for our country and veterans.

Obama would consider speaking with thugs like the little man from Iran or the bully from Venezuela-they don't deserve to have their names repeated. Obama would be very weak in foreign policy and his economic plan is also wanting. Don't get fooled by the big show he puts on-its just hype with no substance.

Economy may yet win it for McCain

WIth the bailout, it's not a good time to elect a Democrat who is promising major expenditures. John McCain has a record of voting against costly measures, and that fiscal prudence is now what our country desperately needs. McCain is obviously the tougher of the two and more willing to stand up to special interests, as he has proven in his long record of public service. If McCain can get that message out, he'll be the next president.

mccain

i think mccain knows what hes doing and is very supportive therefore i support him

Wake up stupid!!!

Reading some of these articals makes me want to scream!!! Especially the one from wake up america. They state that Senator Obama is against Nucular energy (as if this should be a bad thing) While Senator McCain supports Nucular Energy. I have read articals in the past that Senator McCain wants to add an additional 700 Nucular power plants in the United States. I was thinking that would be great, then we wouldn't need any lights in our homes anymore because we could all just glow in the dark.

Just because McCain has necular energy guys lining his pockets does not mean that every american wants to die of cancer. Or maybe we could use oil & coal and polute our planet to death.

If every home in america would use Solar Panel's we would not need to build any new plants. Wind and Solar is the ONLY solution to our energy needs, and if someone tells you any different they are trying to sell you something.

P.S. Best quote of the day!

We'd be a lot better off if more americans were informed rather than opinionated.

I think Barack Obama, will be the President of the

Unites Sates of AMERICAA

HE is man I BELIEVE HE CAN CHANGE this country.

he is the best man for run of President.

Therefore I SURPORT HIM.

Palin was a maverick selection but was also a gamble. If she were a man, McCain would not have selected her. There were a lot more qualified VPs than her. Yup, it jums started his ailing campaign in the beginning but just like a fart, it's strong and stinky at first but then it fades and dissipates.

Why Should America Be Afraid?

Obama should win in a landslide but there are millions of closeted racists like the ignorant rant of American Made who used the "Obama Hood" reference and called tax breaks to working class people welfare. I'm black, Republican and highly offended at people who I suspect have half my education blame our economic problems on the poorer segment of society. The cracks about socialism are nothing more than a throwback to the 1950's mentality that fueled the Cold War.

Ten billion a month on Iraq??? Why do we do this without batting an eyelash and not want to pay for a national health plan. Everyone in this country should have access to reasonable health insurance. As an early retiree, I have no choice but to find a job that has insurance because I am uninsurable except for some lame plans that offer nothing or cost close to 2 grand a month. I am not alone by any means but the law doesn't allow all the people who own their own businesses to pool the risks and form their own insurance companies. Such a plan with government substidies not unlike those given to farms would work. Why then do we insist on paying for war and not health care?

Simple. We are weak and stupid. Call me callous but we are essentially protected by two immense oceans and the most powerful military in history. No one will invade us. No one will conquer us wih force. They can however blow a few of us up every ten years or so and sit back laughing while we spend ourselves into financial ruin trying to zero sum the possibility of a repeat incident.

Who gets rich? The people who develop body scan machines for airports, the ones who made the puffer machines that test for explosives but also somehow manage to check for drugs. Don't get me started on defense contractors and connections to Washington.

Homeland Security gives grants to places and Kansas to solidify them against terroist attacks while leaving ports vulnerable. McCain plays on unfounded fears. Even worse by sticking our noses into everyone's business it makes us a bigger target. Does anyone ever attack Canada or Sweden or Switzerland? No because those countries mind their own business.

So Bush created this fantasy where Iraq becomes the 51st state - sorry Puerto Rico. Iraq a shinning light of democracy. And he got the rest of you shattered by 9/11 to go along because anything less was un American.

Don't get me wrong, should anyone step foot in this country with ill intent, I say bomb em back to the stone age.

So let blind rage, fear and racial bigotry rule the day. Go ahead and elect McCain and his successor, Sarah Palin. My heart and mind tell me Obama but I've got 50 bucks riding on the bigotry of at least 20% of Americans to take McCain to the top.

To the morons who always call blacks racists assuming race is the only reason to vote Obama. We've always voted for a white man. Too many won't vote for Obama unless McCain gets caught with a 12 yer old boy and even then . . .
