Obama & His Close Friend William Ayers

William Ayers, in the age of terrorism, will be Barack Obama's Willie Horton.

~ Larry C. Johnson, former counterterrorism expert

I don't regret setting bombs. ... I feel we didn't do enough.

~ William Ayers, N.Y. Times interview, Sept. 11, 2001

I don't know about you, dear reader, but it vexes me to no end every time I see or read anything about Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, co-founders of the radical '60s anarchist group the Weather Underground.

Ayers and Dohrn are people who are very close friends to Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama, who over the years sat on various boards with Bill Ayers and to whose home Obama was compelled to make a pilgrimage at the beginning of his political career to secure their blessings and exploit their essential financial and political connections in Chicago.

How in a rational world could Obama, a man that wants to be president of the U.S., have actively associated (for perhaps over 20 years) with people like Ayers and Dohrn, avowed, unrepentant terrorists? On Sept. 11, 2001, shortly before the first planes hit the Twin Towers in New York, Bill Ayers gave an interview for the New York Times, in which he lamented, "We [the Weather Underground] didn't do enough." Well, what did they do?

From 1969-73, the Weather Underground committed hundreds of acts of violence and terrorism in America and against her citizens. Some of the more spectacular acts included the bombing of the U.S. Capitol, the State Department, the Pentagon and the New York Police Headquarters.

On March 6, 1970, several of their WU members, including Ayers' then-girlfriend, Diana Oughton, were killed in a New York apartment as they were preparing a nail bomb to blow up the Fort Dix Army base in Burlington County, N.J. This bomb was designed by Bill Ayers himself and intended to be built according to his expressed specifications.

For committing such treasonous, hateful crimes against humanity in the past, why are Ayers and Dohrn today not only free citizens, but are well-paid, tenured professors at the University of Chicago and Northwestern Law School, respectively? Because liberals dominate the academy, the trial lawyers associations and all levels of the judicial system.

More precisely, Ayers and Dohrn got off on a technical violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, and the dismantlement of the so-called COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program). Apparently, the FBI blew their case against them by illegally wiretapping their terrorists' plots without a warrant....

Evangelical Votes

Under President Bush's administration we have had more gays in our history to be married to each other and as for abortion that law has been well established years ago and I dont for see McCain/Palin changing that! How can you republicans say with a straight face especially those of you who call yourselves evangelical christians support candidates who will not confess the word of God out of their mouths and when they are asked questions concerning biblical principals they try to be so politically correct and act rather shameful about telling the true gospel as it is. I am so tired of so called christians hiding behind the name of God but wont open their mouths to evangelize the truth of God's Holy Word. You people talk the talk but do not walk the walk. If you did prayer would never would have been taken out of school. Evangelism means to spread the word and tell all mankind about the goodness and holiness of God and you can't once during this whole election process find your evangelical candidates standing up or proclaiming the word of God. What good is it to have the light of God and not share it. I am tired of people using Christanity as a weapon God is ashamed of you all that do this. Palin nor McCain have conducted themselves anyway near christians and all the lies they have told and showed us. I will vote for Obama who is a Christian and shows it in the way he cares for communities and the American people. When Palin/and McCain stand up for the Gospel that might be the day I change my mind. Live the life don't just talk it. Jesus also associated himself with people whom people couldn't understand but he had his reasons and his reason was to show the love of God and the light. You hipocrites need to go and sit down somewhere and pray!

fear based evangelical voting

The basis for the evangelical vote has been abortion, national security and gay issues. I myself am pro-life, both for the unborn and the living. Wars, poverty and indifference kill too. As for the gays, if you truly are a Christian see them with a heart of compassion and pray for them. Jesus himself came into this world not to condemn it but to save it, so who are we to pass judgement (John 3:17)? Christians, if you are living in fear of terrorist acts then I would question your faith. Jesus came into this world with peace and his peace he left with us.Without faith there is little hope and without hope there is the absence of peace.

God is not a Republican

I am a 72-year-old white Evangelical Christian woman, and I am voting for Obama. Jesus never involved himself in politics. He never spoke against the cruel ruler, instead saying, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's." Jesus was acquainted with all kinds of people who broke God's laws (prostitutes, thieves, etc.), yet he never condemned anyone but the religious hypocrites, telling them their father was the devil. These pharisees bullied the people, and there is nothing worse than a bully. Does anyone come to mind today? Bush bullied us into the Iraq war and various coverups, McCain bullies the press and anyone else who disagrees with his ideas, Sarah Palin not only bullies helpless animals, but has bullied her way into a vice presidential nomination with all kinds of questionable deals in her climb up the political ladder. Now she is bullying those who want to investigage her actions.

I will vote for the person who has a heart for the needy, as Jesus did, who has an agenda to correct the wrongs of the past eight years, and who will reconcile opposing camps to bring about a better America. Out with the old--in with the new!

Voting My Values

As an evangelical, I am committed to voting my values. Obama does not represent my values.

Obama would callously let surviving aborted babies die rather than receive medical care. Those are not my values.

Obama would advocate the redefinition of traditional marriage. Those are not my values.

Obama would implement a policy of increased taxes and bigger government. Those are not my values.

Obama would talk with dictators without preconditions. Those are not my values.

Obama associates with Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, & Louis Farrakan. Those are not people I would associate with unless I have similar affinity with them. Those are not my values.

Obama is the most radical, left-wing senator in the current Senate. Those are not my values.

Obama lies and smears Gianna Jessen, an abortion survivor, for political reasons. Those are not my values.

Only those evangelicals without a biblical worldview would even remotely consider voting for Obama. Those who actually vote for Obama are counterproductively implementing policies that are contrary to biblical principles.

John Wu must understand that it not economic experience that matters most but synergy, abilities and a clear understanding of modern trends politically, socially, culturally, economically etc. John wu must know that Psychology tells us that very very few old people if no at all can adopt to change. The States need a U turn. No old Folk can do it no matter whether evangelical or catholic. He should be very energetic, creative, proactive, confident and determined if he is to bring the "Change' America needs.McCain is Himself the obsolete change so how can he bring the modern one? new wine in oldwineskin? truly death of both america's economic and political muscles.

God help us Americans,God bless America.

Evangelicals have let us down

I am personally commited Evangelical But If we are to vote for christianity,no one among the two can be acursed. If we Americans want to choose the Best and capable Leader we must logically /rationally scrutinize the actual abilities and charisma of our president to be before voting. It is clearly accepted that "we can not teach an old Dog".Although I am not a Democrat I do not agree that McCain can bring any change in his fainting old age. Remember that It is the Evangelical president George W Bush who brought our beautiful nation into this unpleasant position we are crying out to escape. Many enemies and collapsing economy and status.

We want a person who will change these enemies to be our permanent friends, collapsing economy to powerful one but not JUST Evangelical priorities alone.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

theevangelical vote:how big is it really

I'm a Christian and a Democrat and a Women and Iam a Decided voter "OBAMA" in 2004 i voted out of fear for bush because what the church said without saying it you knew how they wanted you to vote, that is still happening today. i was told that if i read my Bible then i have to vote McCain i do read my Bible but i will not be bullyed at church or by other christians again. I WILL TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH WITH BARACK OBAMA.

Lemmings

These folks are the biggest Constitution violators of all time.

So much for seperation of Church and State.

Start taxing the churches if the want to cross the line :)

Evangilicals are nothing more then lemmings being told how to run there lives and how to vote. Sad , God gave each of free will and they do not use such a precious gift.

Which percentage are recovering Addicts or Alcoholics or preyed upon while in a hospital recovering. The drag there families into evangilicalism? My guess a good 75%

Christian 4 Obama!!

I'm a Christian and I am voting for Obama, because the economy and education is more important than gay rights and abortions. We had a Republican in office for the last 8 years andhe never did anything to shut down abortion clinics.
