It amazes me to see the gullibility of the Republican voters. The Republican party has always been of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich - no matter who it hurts. The religious "wrong" votes based on ridiculous kooks' views of preposterous pseudohistories filled with supernatural mythology that defies what our very eyes can see right in front of us. A specific candidate is a good Christian man despite his numerous affairs, the most recent being his current wife and his running mate thinks "Dancing with Dinosaurs" was once man's favorire passtime. Such blindsided folk would want someone in office that believes the Earth is only 6000 years old and created by magic rather than acknowledging the evolution that we can watch as the days pass. We wonder why our economy has crashed when while we pump billions into the economy of Iraq, The Hunt Group, and Haliburton. We have a president of the great and moral Republican party that stole his first term in office right under the public's nose, lied to the nation and caused thousands to die, and cannot speak a coherent sentence. Now this is all so much better than when we had a thriving economy, gas under a dollar a gallon, jobs galore, a financial surplus, and a president who got a BJ under the table and was set up for the fall by it? Go figure. Thousands dead VS a BJ...... Well, at least sarah Palin is a pretty woman - so sad she was born sans a brain. Apparently, the polls show she has a lot of company out there.

Do some independent research (the internet is rife with substance) and see for yourself what lurks behind the posturing of those who would save and protect us!

I'm a 74 year old white female from Alabama. When Obama didn't pick Hillary as his VP running mate, I was actually considering voting Republican for the first time in my life. Then when McCain chose Palin I realized his judgment was lacking in what we need to run this country. Some of my friends tell me they like Palin because she's ordinary just like us. Well, I want someone smarter than me and my friends to "possibly" be President and it sure isn't Palin (and I question McCain's ability now that he picked Palin). Some people say Obama has no more experience than Palin but he sure has more intelligence and common sense the she has!

This 81 year old white mail veteran of WW II continues to be disenchanted with Gov. Palin as is my wife of 58 years. She is not qualified to be a candidate for VP and I agree with George Wills' opinion of Senator McCain's choice. She is too busy trying to be cute,

I don't believe the people of Alaska has not properly evaluated her capabilities because they are overwhelmed by her charm. She is causing McCain's ratings to fall due to lack of knowledge of the basic issues.

I intend to vote for Obama unless things change within McCains campaign.

Sarah Palin supports the barbaric practice of aerial hunting of wolves & bears. This, despite the fact that biologists & wildlife experts call it extremely cruel & completely unnecessary and even the vast majority of Alaskan hunters oppose it due to the extremely inhumane and unfair treatment of the animals. Sarah Palin’s Administration actually offered a $150 bounty to any hunter who turned in the left foreleg of a wolf, until the courts ruled it “depraved cruelty”.

Ms. Palin actively opposed a ballot measure campaign seeking to end the aerial hunting of wolves and she approved a $400,000 state-funded campaign aimed at swaying people’s votes on the issue. Sarah Palin also introduced legislation to make it easier to kill wolves & bears and which would have also removed the aerial hunting initiative from the ballot so as to block the ability of citizens to vote on this issue.

Sarah Palin also supports shooting bears habituated to humans (such as at the Katmai Preserve) even though the vast majority of Alaskans (even sport hunters) are opposed to this. Additionally, under Palin, for the first time since Alaska’s statehood in 1958, it’s legal to do land-and-shoot killing of bears & their cubs.

Add to this, her inexperience and right wing extremist views (such as opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest and her views on creationism), and Sarah Palin is the last person that you would want in the White House. We need someone with experience, intelligence, modern day viewpoints and compassion in the White House not Sarah Palin!!!

Why not examine Joe Biden just as closely? Isn't he a Vice Presidential candidate too? Ah, never mind.

Luckily, these professionals are culturally sophisticated enough to cite American Idol as an appropriate context for comparison.

In addition, this think tank is honest enough to admit that Governor Palin stimulates their sundry brains, perhaps as much as the incandescent John Edwards and the amorphous Barack Obama.

So many scrutinize our Governor of Alaska at present, hard, trying to figure her out, trying to step in her shoes. Especially those red spiky ones with the chains.

The members of this think tank are not so far removed from many members of the voting public, compiling and assessing squirmy, delicious, and scary indicators of cognitive and congenital dissonance upon beholding a sexually attractive, 100% straight female achieving prominence, success, and a position of authority. It's all so confusing.

Daugther underage pregnancy should enough for no-show

In Indonesia, daughter underage pregnancy, without husband (marriage) is a real shame to family. The family even not let her been shown in family matters or public - but lo, in America, the President hopefull, cheers the boy which in Indonesia, the father of the girl (moreover she is only 17) can barely shoot him or smack-him down at the first close encounter.

And the mother may get a slap in the face from her husband (or her father/the grand father) of her failure of not doing her motherhood duty as to take care of their young. Wake-up.. this is not a soap opera.. this is about leaders of the world most powerful country. come-on!
