So, this is the decision that a "typical" democrate will make!!! She can not put aside her party loyalty to stand side by side with a republican for a good common cause!! And the excuse is so stupiiidddd? She is loosing her supporters, those with common sense for foreign policy!!!

The person who wrote that comment should have a little more education and stop insultion the former first lady and her husband. Did you so soon forgot the great service they did to this country? BC and HC strengthed the relations of this country with the whole world and do believe in communication and diplomacy to address issues; unlike the Bushes who both have gone to war and have left this country in calamity. The reason HC is not going is because the MCain campaign wants to put Sarah Palin next to HC to send the "subliminal message" that they are both alike. That Palin is as competent as HC. We all know that is not true. I am happy to see the Hillary is not letting them use her and that she doesn't lower herself to the level of SP. Hillary Clinton is not just a first lady, she is a freaking SMART and COMPETENT lady who understands the issues that women face, and are not tainted by religion or personal preferences.

I don't blame HC for not sharing the stage. Why would anyone with decent qualifications to be President want to share the stage with SP?

Did I actually end up on the Op-Ed page? Let's see, first SP is described as a "hockey mom." Well, she does describe herself as such, so I can understand this one.
Then, she is carrying John McCain's flag. What does that even mean? Is she supposed to be opposed to John McCain?
Then the story closes by discussing what kind of world traveller SP is. What is the relevance of how many countries SP has been in have to do with Hillary Clinton backing out of a rally against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? And I couldn't help notice that in an article about Hillary Clinton, we find out how old Sarah Palin is. Why is that? No word on Hillary's age. Or anyone else in the article.
If you want to put that in your opinion pieces, by all means, go ahead. Her age and experience are legitimate talking points. Putting it in what is supposed to be an article about another person just smacks of liberal bias.

"Oxymoron" is a big word for a moron to be using, Valerie. I really question Opra's endorsement of Obama. We all know she left Obama's church for economical reasons, deciding that she must distance herself from the radical black element in this country. Could she be a closet black radical? Obama will bring change to this country if elected, but the change will be catastrophic. He will rob my meager retirement fund and I will be thrown on the federal dole if he is elected. That is if a white man still will be eligible for welfare under his presidency.

I lost all respect for HC when she sat on the stage, in Israel, Many years ago, while Arafat's wife, in her speech, accused the Israeli's of murdering Arab children. HC not only sat through the lies BUT KISSED HER AFTER THE SPEECH. Now, while seeking the Dem. nomination for president, she pusued the Jewish vote. Now she with drew from the rally to save Israel from Iran, etc., she no longer needs the Jewish vote, so she abandoned them. Is she afraid of Sarah Palin? Is her so called love of Israel a farce? I believe it is.
