Libertarians not voting Barr

Look Maybe Bob is not the best libertarian candidate, logically that really only matters if we win, witch would be the best outcome, still possible. But if you take your vote away from Bob, you in effect are really only taking your vote from Liberty. not everybody liked Gen. Washington at the time, but they suffered and fought for the Declaration of Independence, not the man out front, at the time. Stand nit for the man, not even for the Party, stand for the principals, that is, in the final analysis, what the Libertarian party stands for. Vote Bob Barr, vote Libertarian, vote on principal, not because me or the news or even your best friend says so, but be cause you know it in your heart.

Besides where do you think "converts" come from, history is filled with people who saw the light, switched sides, and put things right.

And to my dear Republican and Democratic friends, I am sorry your parties have left you so scared and bitter. I try to understand how you can see your brothers and sisters as evil red or blue enemies to be defeated. I hope someday this nation can learn to live in loving peace someday, a place where we can share in the bounty of a beautiful world. After years of searching I have found the Libertarian ideals, begun a very long time ago, to be the only logical path to such a future.

Well look at me carry on, thanks for reading this, I'm sure your time is valuable. Peace

Big mouths with little thoughts

Hey Joshua, you must be thinking of McCain/Palin they are the ones who are building their campaigns on lies and more lies. I will give you one, I was impressed and happy about Palin at first until the night she started her scripted speech and so easily lied, mocked, denigrated and misrepresented the facts. McCain and Palin are the ones who TELL THE CONSERVATIVES WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR! It is not the truth but for people like you it makes no difference. We have had eight years of lies and the misrepresentation of facts and you still don't get it. Feel sorry for you.

Obama is Marxist

Have you heard anything from the people he supposedly helped in South Chicago? No, you haven't. That's because he worked for a group called ACORN, which has branches all over the country. It trains mainly low income minorities to become activists, telling them that they are entitled to free health care, free housing and the like. He will bleed the hard working taxpayer of all his money and give it to people who aren't and have no intentions of helping themselves. HE ONLY TELLS PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR! People are buying it in droves. People need to read their history. We are going down a VERY bad path.

Come on, Bob. Get those McCain votes by the hundreds of thousands. Putting Obama in will be your life's greatest achievement. Seriously. We need you now, Bob.

Bob Barr is one to talk

Bob Barr is not very "credible" lately and is one to talk about credibility. After his childish no-show at Ron Paul's third party unity news conference, I will not support him even though I have been a Libertarian for 17 years. As a matter of fact, Bob Barr will be the first Libertarian Presidential candidate that I will not support and will encourage others to do the same. I couldn't get myself to vote for him in the primary because I didn't believe that his miraculous conversion from a hard-line neocon to a Libertarian was genuine. Now, I know for sure! I hope that Bob Barr will drop out of the race to allow a "real" Libertarian to represent our party. Otherwise, I am going to write-in Ron Paul on election day!

Only Dondero and his fellow posers call Palin a libertarian

She supported tax hikes as mayor and governer, supported the bridge to nowhere before the massive amount of blowback and wanted schools to teach creationism. The fact is Dondero was cheering for the neo-conservatives while tearing down Ron Paul during the Republican primary and he shows once again his lack of credibility in the liberty movement. The only two candidates that have a chance for my vote is Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin.

I was a Barr supporter now turned Pro-Palin

I helped to get Bob Barr on the ballot in 6 states over the summer as a petitioner: Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. I'm proud of my work, but I'm now supporting John McCain for President. Barr has already been succesful in this Presidential race beyond Libertarians' wildest dreams. Does anyone think for a moment that were it not for him polling 5 to 6% nationwide over the summer, that McCain would have chosen libertarian Republican Sarah Palin as his running mate?

Barr and the Libertarian Party deserve a hearty congratulations for influencing the GOP into getting the first libertarian on a major party ticket since Goldwater.

Back and forth is NOT change

The inherent problem in today's society is the lack of gumption to challenge the inevitable. The only reason the word ‘inevitable’ has any meaning in the first place is due to individuals conceding and giving up the fight. The simple fact is that the two party system in no longer working. We have fallen in a rut of choosing the lesser of two evils. This country will continue its bounce between ‘pong paddles’ if we do not do something about it. I agree that the wasted vote is not ‘voting 3rd party’… it’s ‘NOT voting your conscience’.

“The point of fact is that regardless of who ELSE is running, either Obama or McCain will win the election.” –WRONG ANSWER
