Bob Barr: Obama and McCain Aren't Credible Agents of Change

Baldwin as President, Ron Paul become a cabinet member?

I totally support Chuck Baldwin. Why? First, Ron Paul endorses him. Second, the more I have learned about him the more I believe that if he became our President he has some real backbone to stand up to Washington. Third, did anyone think that if we really rally behind Chuck Baldwin and he wins that he could very well offer Ron Paul a position in his cabinet. Ron Paul finally in the White House. Therefore, for all of you that have been so loyal to Ron Paul and want to write in his name I think what Ron Paul is trying to tell you, but by not telling you what to do, is to vote for Chuck Baldwin. That everybody that was behind Ron Paul should be behind Chuck Baldwin. It doesn't make sense to me that when Ron Paul asks you to support other politicians for election because they should be, you quickly want to support them even if they are not from your area, or if he asks you to send letters to Congress for various reasons we do it willingly because we know he is only watching out for us. I know some of you have concerns that Chuck Baldwin wears his religion on his sleeve whereas Ron Paul is more quiet about his, however, Ron Paul, by his words, actions and beliefs is a very religious man himself. He puts the American people and this Country first like his family. He tries to protect us from the evil that is so quickly spreading throughout D.C. If this is not the work of God I don't know what is. Don't you want someone in their that you feel that is honest and has some moral fiber to stand up to these politicians in D.C. All of you want to return back to the constitution as Ron Paul has stated we should. Ron Paul has stated that it is our moral (another reference to God) obligation to vote for the best person for this country. This country's laws and constitution were founded with God's word. Our court system goes by the ten commandments and we swear on the Bible before we are questioned in court. Newly-elected politicians swear on the Bible their Oath of Office. God is in our Pledge of Allegiance. God is even printed on our money. How can you possibly separate God from government. God gives us a conscious and natural law. Why do you think D.C. is such a mess now? Because we are allowing them to lead us without God. My understanding of why the Founding Fathers wanted separation of church and state because England and other European monarchies had such control over the churches that they did not want this government ever to interfere in the teachings of the churches in this country. They wanted to make sure our churches would have the freedom to teach their parishioners without interference, therefore, separation of church and state. Thus, may I say that for all of those who are going to write in Ron Paul's name, not vote or vote for another independent, please reconsider. That approach is exactly what the democrats and republicans want. They want us to remain divided. Isn't that the whole point of C4L is to stay unified?

I deserve more, but I'll probably get less or less.

Evidently the taste of Elephant or Donkey Doo is not bad enough for us to make change or have a "Tea Party", and so government goes on, as is. (Sad expensive wasteful reality)

Barr as stealth candidate

My take on this is that Barr is a stealth candidate designed to help McCain by trashing Obama and ignoring McCain. What little time he gets noticed anyway.

These malignant cancers got started in America 60 years ago, when millions of pitiful defeated Marxist refugees from Nazi Germany and Marxist Soviet Union were trustingly accepted as immigrants by inexperienced America, after their rejection by experienced Europe. History suggests that their destruction will inevitably occur, with surprising speed. Russia was utterly devastated by Marxist cancers for two generations, and is very slowly recovering with the gradual introduction of democracy, freedom of speech, nationalism, and Christianity. But Germany under Hitler, and Spain under Franco, quickly destroyed their Marxist cancers, before they could seize control over vital governmental organs. America’s Constitution is quite extraordinary in that the supreme defensive governmental organ of the People is the grass-roots town militia. When executive, legislative, and judicial organs become tyrannical, militias spring-up over-night in every town to restore freedom and democracy, by guns and gallows revolutionary justice. America promises to put on the greatest revolutionary show on Earth, to the tune of “God Bless America”. The militia man with Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Assembly, and the Right to Bear Arms go into action in a minute, clutching his Crucifix and gun. With Separation of Church and State, his pastor never tells him how to fight for his Country, and his general never tells him how to pray to his Christian God.

Staunch Protestant, Catholic, Mormon, Evangelical, and Fundamental crusaders in the Cultural War indirectly support the revolutionary militias, when they forcefully condemn the heresies and inter-denominational strife that is destroying America’s Christian culture.

Re; Ron Paul's "National Press Club's" speach.

At the recent National Press Club event when a reporter asked Ron Paul how much of a coalition they had between the four (3rd party) candidates and in particular what Bob Barr's noticeable non-attendance signified.

While the Republican/Democrat/Federal Reserve Bank party with their "Barack and Joe and John and Trixy" show plays on Bob Barr has a real chance to get his message out through the "campaign for Liberty forum.

If he is really for change (where have I heard that song)? he should get aboard the Ron Paul Message Machine. If not, let us know so we can continue to design our campaign materials.

Thank you Bob Barr, I was beginning to wonder where on Earth you were. I was afraid that you were going to be too quiet this election. Now make a big fuss, make commercials, you know really get your name out there. You have experience, you like small government, you hate...whatever it is you people hate. All you have to do is take away %3-4 of votes that would have gone to McCain. I mean if you could pull off %7-9 that would be really lovely, but that might be pushing it. Please search your couch cushions, beg for money from other libertarians, just get the money you need to get on tv, radio(I know how conservatives love their radio) and the internet and just talk about how both parties are garbage and how we need a better option. Talk about how McCain really isn't who he says he is and how you know why people don't like Obama. Yes, please all of that. I'm not asking you to make it to Ross Perot level or anything, just enough to take the edge off in places like Ohio, Virginia, Michigan and so forth. I know you can do it. I believe in you Bob.

Barr 2008

Marcelo and those of his thought persuasion are the reason third parties will never win. Ron Paul is just a man. The important thing is the ideals he stands for. Restoring us to the Constitution. I'm going to vote Barr in November. Not because I love Barr, but because I love the ideals of the Libertarian Party. I voted for Ron Paul in the primary because of his ideals. To Eric, please don't pretend that Palin is a Libertarian Republican. She represents more Neo-Conservative Republicans.

So US News wants to write off Barr, and influence public opinion by stating, "He knows he can't win." This is getting old. He can win if he is given the same attention as the rest of the candidates. I won't expect that from the old media.
