McBush / Palin....will be disasterous for this country! Please open your eyes America, look beyond ideology, color and what feels comfortable, seek out the truth. McBush / Palin are all about LIES, DISTORTION and FEAR! McBush / Palin have no plan for America and are running against their own party's failures. Obama will lower taxes for 95% of us. McBush said the economy is "fundamentally sound" If you really believe that than you deserve what you will get with a McCain/Bush/Pailin Whitehouse. The Upside of "Negative Politics!"
To me, it shows that Obama wants the job. Unlike Gore and Kerry; who were willing to display comity, when faced with "low road" politics - Obama shows that he will hit back and will contend to be President of the United States. It shows me a leader who is involved in his canidacy, over the apathy & belief that Gore/Kerry have the entitlement to cruise into the job. Mr Obama knows he must earn it. This shows his mettle.
McCain please stop the lies!
Since the Palin story of the bridge to no where was debunked by the major news networks she continues to say she was the one who opposed the project and caused it's failure. Not only did she initially support the project but she wound up keeping the $400,000 plus allocated money when the project was terminated. The lie has been restated some 38 times by the McCain campaign after being shown to be untrue. Clearly they have adopted the 2004 campaign strategy that says if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth in the eyes of the voters. My God how stupid do they actually think we are! McCain is running a campaign against his own stated philosophy of honesty and integrity and in conformance with the Bush Republican agenda. This shows McCain is more of the same old tried and failed policies of the past.
Americans Please Stop
Stop the bashing now. We need to start listening only about how each candidate is going to implement this "change" we keep hearing about. We need to focus on electing a candidate that will restore this country economically, and with the least amount of lives being paid. Is it because no one really knows HOW? Is each party focus-shifting because they just don't have the answers? If this is true, I am truly scared for our great country and for our futures the futures of our children. Candidates, please give us your answers, not more questions.

How can u know if McCain will be a good President? There is no way to know before the actually become President. From what I have heard from McCain its is either smear ads or he is repeating the exact same stances Bush takes. It did not work in the last 8 years why should those policies work for the next 4?
As for Palin being a smart cookie, thats what you think and i wont argue since i dont know palin personally and i couldnt tell you how smart she is. But again why couldnt Obama be just as smart as you think Palin is? The Republicans made the campaign into Palin versus Obama which says to me that they dont hold high hopes for McCain living through office or possibly McCain will be what Bush was supposed to be. Bush was the electable face while Cheyne made the real decisions. So if it really is Palin versus Obama they should not deride Obama's inexperiece when their own "candidate" Palin has just as little if not less. Before anyone claims Palin is special id like to point out that Palins political record thus far is not all that impressive by anyones perspective. Obamas has organized communities and HELPED people in his short career while Palin's career has only been one big scandal from what i can find of her.

As an outsider, I have mixed feelings. Part of me wants the best for Americans, and also wants a safer world. As the Republicans have a disastrous foreign policy stance, that leads me to hope for Obama.
Yet, a darker side of me -- in a spirit of international competition and a little sadism-- wouldn't mind seeing the U.S. dollar sink a little. Spending billions of dollars in Iraq is a great way to keep that up. Plus, another Republican government would be funny to watch (but not as funny as Bush was). So another part of me hopes for McCain. I'm torn!
Alan Greenspan is right
Every fact check organization checking McCain's ads has found them riddled with lies. The party that brought us Nixon and Bush has forgotten what genuine is. How much national crisis will it take to see that we have a better option than the ambitious and corrupt.
I'm with Alan Greenspan, who has said that Obama's economic plan is good and McCain's isn't. Pick a liar with a bad economic plan as president, you'll send the country further into a toxic decline. That's not putting country first.
