Campaign 2008

Sarah Palin and the Presidential Succession Issue

It's something worth considering since there have been nine "accidental presidents" in American history

Posted September 9, 2008

Most political scientists and campaign veterans argue that, in the end, voters make their decision based on who is running for president, not on who would be No. 2. But asking whether a vice presidential candidate is fit for the nation's highest office is not a pointless exercise. It's a question worth asking because, unfortunately, tragedy strikes more often than many people realize.

go obama 2008

those who voted for bush in 00 and 04 will surely vote for mccain and palin who will continue bush like policies. as a young person who is being screwed by many of you ignorant and sometimes downright racist conservatives, I am appalled by some of your comments. woul you like us young people to rise up and get rid of social security and medicare to salvage our own futures. would this wake some of you buffoons up to how angry we are with you living beyond your means?!!

What kind of "math" is that..

Wow..what an idiot! I guess it's the same old fraudulent untruthful democrat way. The correct way to calculate the percentage of "accidental" presidents would be to take the total terms and then divide by how many times the V.P. stepped in. Especially since McCain is only serving one term. You would never use this calculation if you were defending a candidate. You have been totally discredited. Any way you try to "rational lies" this from here just further shows what a fraud you are.

Gov. Palin as " the Vice -President " and possible succession

It is really scary to know that if something bad happens to McCain

in the White House, Gov. Palin would succeed as " President " of

the USA ! Poor Hillary would swallow her pride to see if Gov. Palin

would become the FIRST Female President !

I shudder with great trepidation !

Frankly, I think Hillary would have been a better candidate

because she has MORE political clout and experience. She has

been a Senator of New York as well as a former First Lady.

Therefore if she was on the Barak Obama ticket, Obama would have

won the election EASILY with no problems !
