Palin Introduces Herself and Takes On Obama in Convention Speech

Fact: Sarah Palin is a member of the party who just a few years ago fought against fair treatment and legislation for the women, minorities, as well as the mentally and physically disabled.

Fact: She's a hypocritical actress.

Fact: She is a member of the same party (the modern version at least) as Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms, two guys who fought against fairness their entire lives. The list of idiots is long on both sides of the aisle, but the Cons are a special, inbred lot.

Fact: She was the mayor of a HOMOGENOUS town of oil company employed citizens. Her husband works for BP.

Fact: Her state's population is smaller than Montana's.

Fact: She was a beauty queen and local sportscaster. Talk about celebrity.

Fact: She supports unlimited gun ownership including automatic weapons which no sane hunter uses for their sport. Therefore she supports terrorism and criminal behavior. Who uses these kinds of weapons?

Fact: She's a redneck. Not rural or "country", a redneck. Rednecks are a fringe group and definitely are not savvy enough to run the strongest country in the world. G.W. and LBJ proved this.

Fact: She did what she did in Alaska to get and keep votes. If she were to get into power her tune would change in two seconds.

Fact: She has spread herself too thin. She is too manic and her homelife suffered as a result. Nothing is more important than being a complete and successful mother. Most of her constituents don't have high school aged daughters who have children (while still in high school). Oh and the kid's not married.

Fact: That's why she won't get the vote of true conservative minded Americans.

Fact: If you can't run your own household how the hell are you going to run a country, let alone this one?

Fact: The people who support her and the Repubs' are the one's suffering most They are brainwashed and enthralled. They are scared of change and anything different. The Bushites tricked the people into believing they were Born Againers just to get into office. The rich have gotten richer and the middle class and lower income folks are getting poorer.

Fact: If McCain wins, we WILL become a 2nd World nation. He will sell us out to Big Business, even further. Then you fixed income types will cry foul again, forget who put you there and vote for the same or another dolt in 4 years. Don't be fooled by labels.

Fact: As a speaker she pales in comparison to Obama, both in her ability to come across as genuine and in her delivery. It's like comparing JFK to a school teacher. She's almost as good as Biden.

Fact: She will get walloped in the debates. She's not smart enough with her token degree. Just watch and weep...

Fact: She is a glory hound which is obvious from her clips in Iraq. Who the heck wears red on the front-lines of a war?

Fact: She picked the Conservative party because she doesn't understand that "Conservative" and "LIberal" refer to Constitutional interpretations, not pilgrim or hippy sensibilities. Then again most of you don't understand this either.

Fact: Obama is a Constitutional scholar and expert. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land.

Fact: She has a BS in Communications and Journalism with a minor in political science. Getting a degree in a non-science or mathematics major is easier than high school. At least Obama had to take Calculus and eventually received a doctorate (JD).

Fact: She is not presidential mettle. Even Bush with his MBA was/is not someone who should run a country like the USA. Obama voted against the war and she still supports it. That makes her an idiot unwilling to account for her mistakes and correct them. Obstinancy and emotionality are not traits any modern world leader should have.

Fact: She believes that "creationism" is as relevant as "natural selection" and science. If that's true why doesn't she get Jesus to use his magical box to transmit her speech via the Angelnet? Get real. Modernity and our world are impossible without modern science and biology.

Fact: She is running against Biden not Obama. She is a VP candidate, remember?

Fact: McCain and Palin will lose in November. This will signal the USA's emergence (finally) into the 21st Century.

Sarah Palin is not suppose to be a replacement for Hillary Clinton! She is her own woman with her own accomplishments. Much to the Democratic Party's chagrin, those accomplishments have been proven well! What we have here is a VP candidate that has stood up to the Obama Supporters and Obama Pro Media instigators that have been tearing her family apart and attempting to trivialize the accomplishments of a Governor of the United States; In no uncertain response, Sarah Palin point blank showed "This is what I have accomplished as Council Person, Mayor, and Governor;" "Now what has Obama accomplished in comparision? NOTHING..ZERO...NADA.. But he sounds good and wears a suit well!

No, we have a female VP Candidate that in no uncertain term laid out the McCain/Palin Washington Agenda. Everything from Energy and Oil Reform, Fair Trade Agreement changes, to insisting every government agency give a detailed spending report in the first 100 days in office. If that is not positive change, I don't know what is! No, the reason the Democrats have been shouting so long about a pregnant engaged daughter, her having the audacity of being a woman and mother while running for office, and being "inexperienced" while balancing a multi billion dollar state budget is pretty obvious. If you throw hard stones at Palin, no one will notice what Obama hasn't done. Something like pass actual legislation. Let's not forget Barry refuse to, period; on another 103 pieces of reform legislation. How can anyone expect Barry to run the country and effect change as President, when he couldn't even make a decision as Senator to effect change. Run Barry, Run! That glass house you've been living in is shattering around you. It's a "McCain Raking" you're gonna get!

For how long now, the Democrats have been hitting below the belt with their comments regarding Sarah Palin being "Inexperienced; a "Hockey Mom: a wife and mother therefore too stupid to do the job, her engaged daughter starting a family, therefore, Sarah must be incompetent, etc. Well, guess what! You got a taste of your own medicine and can't handle the light of day!

Fact, Sarah Palin cut Alaska government spending waste through Veto Power 500 Billion Dollars. Fact, Sarah Palin initiated the strongest ethics reform policy from any state in the history of this country. Fact, Sarah Palin initiated energy reform and now natural gas line will cut our dependence on foreign oil. Fact, Sarah Palin forced corrupt oil lobbyist to compete with State & Federal Oil contracts to create fair trade among contractors. Fact, Sarah Palin refused to raise taxes and forced oil profits to be returned to the State of Alaska Citizen's. Fact, as Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin was directly responsible for maintaining a multi billion dollar budget, which she not only balanced but currently maintains a surplus. Fact, Sarah Palin has strong EXECUTIVE Policy experience and national security experience with Canada on one side and Russia across the bay! And this is the "Woman" you have been decrying as "inexperienced" and "not qualified for the job". Not bad for a Hockey Mom!

Now let's look at your hero, Barack Obama. Fact, in the two years, actually working in the Senate, Barack Obama failed to vote one way or the other on 130 reform legislation bills. I don't have a problem with him being wrong, but, for a Senator to refuse to take a stand that many times is inexcusable. This is the man you are hoping to effect "Change" as President, when he couldn't even take a stand and "effect change" as a Senator? Fact, Barack Obama has never had any experience in Executive Policy and has no real Foreign Policy Experience. Fact, Barack Obama was a community organizer. Granted, this is an honorable volunteer position. But, his job was to go out to supermarkets and walking the street getting people registered to vote. Honorable yes, political Executive experience, NO. Mind you he was doing this while Governor Palin was a Council Person, Town Mayor and then Governor.

Sarah Palin might be a "heartbeat" away from the presidency. However, at least she has the experience to understand and do the job. That's the difference between her and Obama. He makes pretty promises and flowery speeches; but his track record and experience don't wash in the light of day. Do you really want to vote a Senator as President, that when he finally did cast a vote in the Senate it was to cut the funding of our on ground troops supplies in Iraq? Remember the troop stuffing their cars with sandbags and clothes with straw to stop bullets and bombs. Why? Because the Democratic Congress, like Obama held up funding! Regardless of what your beliefs are of the war, those are our son's & daughter's. That alone would be enough for me to tell Obama to hit the road!

Why is it taking Supreme Mullah Khamenei so long to call for a fresh flood of Iranian blood, a great martyrdom that would lend credibility to Israel’s Obamaphobia? It is possible that the Iranians and Arabs have finally grown wise to Israel’s Neo-Marxist tactic of inciting mortal strife between Muslims and Christians?

Europeans, wildly Obamaphilic, have been cheering for peacemaker Obama and sneering at warmonger McCain. Is possible that they condemn Israel’s land robbery and war crimes against the Palestinian People, enabled by their sustainable parasitism on the wealth and blood of the American People? Is Obama their hope for a friendlier and safer World?

Why do the Russians and Chinese have loaded nuclear weapons pointed at the head of Israel? Is it possible that Israel’s arsenal of 150 nuclear weapons is a threat to some of their vital defenses?

I did get the chance to watch Palin's speech and it was not what I wanted to hear from her. I saw the press conference held on yesterday as well. I understand that family business is family business. But, she must realize she put her family out there. She is not going through anything more than what your average celebrity would go through. All I gathered from her speech was a bunch of cheap shots at Barack Obama and several cheerleading antics for McCain. I did not hear what are her plans as VP to do anything if at all for America. She spent the first 10 minutes giving a bio and defending her family to the media. If it wasn't a big deal and the party didn't really care what the media has printed then why even address it at all. If McCain becomes president and something happens to him in office. I CAN Not see this woman as our president. I feel that her nomination is a tatic to get females that would have voted for Hiliary to vote for "a female." That tells me that the Republican Party does not care about the female vote. It does not give us credit for our thoughts and oppinons and I'm disgusted by that alone. If there was any way that I could have been coaxed over to the Republican party they just lost that chance with Palin...

If you check Sarah Palin out: she's a right wing Christian fanatic! I hope the GOP doesn't succeed in neutralizing an already compliant press into not airing much easily accessable disturbing information about her. I for one, do not want an evangelical armageddon seeking, abstinece only, Roe v. Wade overturning Christian sitting in the next seat. I really don't want any of that ilk having any power over my life. I hate the faith-based initiative and believe in the separation of church and state. Also, this person doesn't believe in science ie. global warming. She is more of more of the same only more dangerous. Our country needs thoughtful leaders that are working for peace again not ginning up additional wars to further bankrupt the American people. She also did away with programs that helped special needs kids! When will the American public wake up and quit falling for this "cult of celebrity" routine and vote for what will further their quality of life their interests, rather than falling for sloganizing "hockey mom" belligerence? People need to be out of debt and to have healthcare, jobs, a promise of education again!
