McCain Chooses Alaska Governor Palin as His Running Mate, Adding Youth and Buzz
With strong social conservative credentials, Sarah Palin will be the first woman on a GOP ticket

Oh God...
As a republican I am stunned. Appalled, really. Something as important as this and McCain chooses someone with no national or international experience. What was he thinking? Experience has been his platform from day one and his saving grace...now he has destroyed it. She does not have the credentials to be in this position. It was not very well thought out. There were others to choose from John McCain. You blew it.
Insulting choice
Sarah Palin is an intellectual featherweight. NRA=No Real Accomplishments. Calling this minimally-resume'ed pea-brain a working mom is an insult. Putting this small minded, small town reactionary on the ticket is an insult to the millions of women who ask only for a level playing field. Surely the BPOE and the International Associations of Chiefs of Police as well as AFSCME will oppose a candidate who uses political office to carry out personal vendettas.

Palin is Under Investigation for Ethics Violations!?!
I think it would be hilarious if Palin is impeached before the election. It would really underscore McMoron's strong judgement. How can anyone see this as anything other than a political move? He met her ONCE prior to choosing her. She's from ALASKA!!!!!!!!!! He only chose her because she is female and he can label her an outsider. Anyone fooled by this is seriously dim.
EXPERIENCE!!
McCain has made the right choice in Palin. Experience??? The President should mentor the next President to be and not the Vice-President mentor the next President to be.
VP Debates
It is going to be interesting to see how Palin's nomination will change the VP debates. Biden is like an old rodeo bull buckin' and snortin' at the gate of the holding pen as he prepares for the debates. Now he is going to have to rescript himself and soften his normal abrasive tone to avoid the appearance of demeaning womanhood. Is someone with politician's tourette syndrome and who rarely has a private thought - up to the task at hand?
same old, same old
The GOP fooled me twice and got me to vote for them out of a trumped up fear of Iraq, even though I knew they were a party controlled by religious fanatics who are determined to force their dogma on every other human being. Never again. I will not even consider the GOP ticket and give them another chance to load the Supreme Court with fanatics who care nothing about any other opinion but their own, which is, of course, blessed by their deity and let them steadily destroy my country. We actually had a budget surplus before Bush So much for all the nonsense about fiscal responsibility from Bush and company, and McCain would change nothing.
McCain and Palin--Hurray!
It's time for the Republicans to repudiate the allegations that capture the press. It seems that anything the Democrats say or breathe seems to capture the media spotlight.
Reform is coming!!
I'm now so energized. The republican reforms that would sweep the party and the country. You'd better watch out - those who put their interest above the country's!
Oil Machine, War Machine, Gay Machine, Insurance, Lawyers, etc... MaCain and Sarah&First Dude is coming for you... We are coming after you and held you to account.
A heartbeat away
I was going to vote for McCain until today. He is 72 years old and not in the best health. So instead of picking an experienced backup I can be comfortable with, he decides to be the "maverick" and choose a person who noone has heard of before. The last time I felt like this was when Dan Quayle was the VP. I don't think Palin is qualified to be president in case something happens to McCain. Barrack seems to have better judgement so far. Choosing a vice president is the first important decision and I think he decided to play political games/strategy with his choice and not thinking about the consequences to the country should something happen.
