Want to actually know what's true??

If you really want the non-partisan truth check out either one or both of these two sites:

politifact.com

snopes.com

Those of you that claim you know the truth... check it out and see if you really do. The site lists all its sources.

I'm sure though that the ones that find their "truth" was wrong will find ways to say these sites are bogus. They are not bogus and they are non-partisan.

Biden for VP

Sounds like the Dems should have given this man a more serious shot at the top job, since he is so much more experienced than Obama. But wait, he originally supported the war, which would not have set well with the ultra-liberal core of the Democratic Party. Perhaps we should return to the policies of Clinton, like the response to the U.S. Cole. Remember, Bush was in office less than a year when 9/11 happened. How long did it take the terrorists to plan and carry out that horrible act? I don't agree with all the policies of the administration, but is cutting and running like a dog with it's tail between it's legs the right way to deal with Iraq? As Americans, we can do better than that.

Biden on Iraq

The Republicans have managed to refocus and narrow the candidate's judgement issue on Iraq to the SURGE decision. Maybe Biden can get the Iraq judgement dialogue shifted back to the decision to invade Iraq. The vast majority of Americans now believe that was a bad decision, while they are divided on the decision on the surge. The Republicans have neutralized a huge Democratic advantage on the Iraq issue by keeping the Iraq dialogue narrowed to the Surge. McCain has stated that if he knew then what he knows now, he still would have supported the invasion. With that kind of judgement, would President McCain be more likely to make the same kind of mistake (e.g. Georgia, Iran)?

I have to heartily endorse John of PA and his succint stating of what has happened in the capital. Biden brings the Obama-Biden ticket a depth that McCain sorely lacks and cannot secure from anyone else in his Republican Party. I want to see who NcCain drags out to present to the voters of our country, and put my money so far on the Obama-Biden ticket. We need to do a thorough and complete clean up in the Capitol and the White House.

Biden predicted a 9/11 attack on 9/10/01.

Joe Biden on September 10, 2001: The new threat to the United States "would not come from an inter-continental ballistic missile with a return address" but in "the belly of a plane" or from a "vial smuggled in a backpack or a bomb in the hold of a ship."

While he gave this speech on 9/10, he held this view long before we were attacked. But, with the Republicans taking power, no one in the Bush administration would listen. Condi Rice said that no one could have anticipated a 9/11 attack...which is total "horse waste" cause Biden did!

Put aside your political leaning just for one second: You DON'T want this kind of foresight (that Biden provides) in the White House?

Obama said don't go into Iraq well before this big money war started. Biden said watch out for a 9/11 style attack (from a plane) one whole day before it happened.

If you don't know who to vote for, then forward this to your kids and ask for their advice.
