Uh, don't know about the sky, but the rise of Islamic terrorism including the Cole Bombing, two WTC bombings, gutting our military, and 9/11 did. You must have missed it.

This kid will be far worse. A glittering man of personal weakness and collosal ignorance..

how you slice it

it really all depends on how you slice the numbers. The 28-32 bracket of generation X is probably also leaning heavily towards Obama, I would wager, while the 40-43 year olds are probably leaning towards McCain. The definitions of generations are silly and inconsistent. What if instead of identifying voters by age, you identified them by technological savvy? Or what age they began using a computer regularly to communicate? The fact that the question of age is still being used by pols and considered relevant is a by-product of the dominance of the baby-boomer social construct.

What it comes down to for me (31 YO F) is that I grew up using computers, and I will not vote for someone who does not have a solid understanding of the impact of technology, particularly social media, on the new American collective conscious.

Our current generational differences have nothing to do with age, and everything to do with the fact that most Generation Y individuals are experts at using the technology that many Baby-boomers don't even know exists. It's like we're not even speaking the same language sometimes. We are not fighting the same old fights that our parents were fighting in the 1960's and 70's, we have all new concerns, all new issues, all new problems. Obama seems to understand those problems, and has managed to engage an entire generation of young people to get to work fixing the mess they've inherited.

He's got my vote.

Boomers

We Boomers have been around long enough to know what is a good deal and what isn't so good. Obama and his shady connections are a real problem. He is so over the top Liberal that even a Berkely boomer gets scared! i just can't go for him he has no experience and now the Russians are talking about nukes and Poland in the same breath! We can't have a "wannabe" in the Whitehouse! His slimy politics and Rev. Wright connections have turned me off! I think he was never vetted and pushed along into a place that he can't handle. He mumbles, and stutters and just seems like a man-child and we can't raise a child! Not now not at this point in history. He must go back to where he came from and do what he was doing. The presidency is "above his pay grade".

Not doubting anymore...

Interesting article. I was really interested in the age demographics. Like women, men are different when you get into generational groups. I am a male, white, non-affiliated voter and Generation Xer.

Because of my military background, I am not too keen on Obama, but McCain is so old guard there is no way I could vote for him.

After eight years with BushCheney, how bad can four years with Obama be?

People said the sky was going to fall Clinton became president. Well the sky didn't fall and I never felt the kind of antipathy toward Clinton that I feel towards Bush.

Obama

support Obama for the reasons as follows.

He is very sexy and attractive , I ever met many sexy girls on a great dating site named

http://www.NaturistMeet.com

they all claimed that Obama is their lover in dream.

secondly, Obama is very wealthly for his hard work!!!

Not so..

I would vote for Hillary--and did in my state primary. Hillary is a patriot and Bill adds real-world experience in a dangerous world.

Obama has neither of these quelities. He is the male equivilent of the dumb blonde. All glitter..

Hillary supporter

Dear Hillary supporters,

Check Steven 007 post and remember that he supports McCain.

Thank you Steven, that was a great example!

Really...doesn't this prove the wisdom

Really...doesn't this prove the wisdom of the Founding Fathers in limiting voting rights to 21-year-old male landowners?

It is time to admit that like the 18th Amendment which established Prohibition in the United States, the 19th Amendment was a mistake. Repeal now!

Thank you, Joe. You're more honest than most men.

Doubting

Did you ever wonder if you're qualified to choose a president? As a white male who chose Bush twice and is leaning toward McCain this year, I think I'll do the world a favor and sit this election out.
