Will It Be an Obama-Bayh Ticket?

With an announcement due soon, some Democratic Party officials think Sen. Evan Bayh will get the nod

John McCain = $540 shoes

McCain will be badly beaten

And it will be because of the Democratic turnout.

The Republicans will try to make McCain look strong on national defense when his own history in that area isn't that good outside of his POW experience. (And NO ONE but McCain knows what really happened there. All we know for sure is what he said happened.) Even if he had caved to the enemy no one could have blamed him, though it would make him less of a hero. OTOH, it would not take away from his service in the military.

McCain knows less about the world and about political systems than I know; and I have never BEEN in congress or any other political job. His not knowing the difference between Shia and Sunni should have been the killer for his candidacy; but somehow he managed to make it sound like it wasn't as big a mistake as it was. Worse still, he made that mistake more than once.

He has repeatedly called the Czech Republic by the wrong name. Now he seems to be trying to provoke Russia so he can look "tough" rather than stupid, which is how he looks to me.

Neocons can try all the scare tactics they want; but most of us want a government "of the people, by the people, FOR the people" rather than one of, by, and for the corporations.

TEXT!!

Where is my text message...Oh, Obama pleeesee...text me with your mindless rhetoric!!

McCain the real "fake"

Obama's fake? John McCain has completely changed his views and flip flopped on so many of his previous positions. I used to respect the guy until he let the Republicans turn him into a cookie cutter version of themselves. The negative, bigoted, and privileged way of the modern Republican party has to end. Obama 08!

Obama's VP pick

Doesn't matter who Obama picks at his running mate. McCain will be taking the oath in January. The American people are finally realizing what a fake Obama really is.

BAYH-OBAMA

It would seem that Bayh would have good draw from both Republican and Democratic sides. He was a very popular governor in Indiana, and left office with a $2 BILLION surplus in the state coffers. He is level-headed and speaks very deliberately. He isn't one to makes gaffs that would reflect poorly on the ticket. He does not have a questionable past like others.

Bayh understands domestic and foreign issues, and would be an asset because of his centrist philosophy.

Bayh is a Neocon.

In 2003, Senator Bayh was an honorary co-chair of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, a neocon pro-war group he enthusiastically joined, along with John McCain and Joe Lieberman.

This guy is too inept and gullible to be the Veep and too beholden to the War Lobby.

This is NOT change we can believe in; if Bayh is anointed by the Chosen One, it's further proof that ambitious Obama is a total phony.

Evan Bayh ....."nucular"?!

Do we really need another high level politician who botches the English language? While watching a news show awhile back, I heard Bayh say "nucular" instead of "nuclear", just like Bush.

Please, Barack, teach him how to speak properly. Thank you.

VP

Joe Biden is a much better choice

Reading is FUNdamental!

A/T 12th amendment

Obama is from Illinois, not Indiana

"Top Democratic Party officials are expecting Sen. Barack Obama to select Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh as his running mate as early as midweek." As in Bayh is from Indiana, not Obama!
