Let's get something clear. Obama wiped the floor with McCain at Saddleback. Mc Cain said everything the evangelicals wanted to hear and Obama spoke from his heart, sincerely and honestly. I submit that the evangelicals will consider what Obama had to say and respect the differences and the courage it took for Obama to be honest with them, and they will determine that McCain was, as he always is, pandering to them. Do you really think McCain has any genuine feelings about abortion? Come on. Even I could see that he was saying what they wanted to hear. The evangelicals will honor McCain's service, but respect Obama's honesty. To conclude anything different would be to conclude that the evangelicals are really stupid.

If you really look at MCCain, he would be a TERRIBLE president. Start with he is too old and not in the best of health. Then look at the Keating 5 scandal, being in the pocket of the corporate world, cheated on his wife, married an heiress, is now a senile out of touch multi- millionaire and not to mention a warmonger. I don't need to know anything about Obama to know that I'm voting for him, because he's not any of those things.

The campaign is contentious because McCain has resorted to the standard Republican swiftboat, slimeball tactics that got George Bush elected. He'll no doubt resort to voter intimidation to drive down the turnout as well. He's a hypocrite, not a "maverick."
