Perhaps there should be a very serious consequence for you and those like you who make frivolous, illogical attacks against those with differing viewpoints. This is still the United States of America and we still, despite persons of your ilk who desire to destroy that basic freedom, have the Given Right to air our opinions.
McCain votes to invade another country and then has the audacity to declare that invading another country is not to be allowed in the 21st century.

Spare us, oh Lord, from John McCain's "Wisdom"
The world is a complex place with various hostilities, wars, conflicts and, again, COMPLEXITIES. John McCain is not a man who can handle complexities, any more than George Bush. My personal theory is that he's still suffering the effects of the Hanoi Hilton, but even before then he was known to take off his plane going in the wrong direction and graduated something like 850 in his military class of 860 (and this is with a big-wig daddy).
He opines "The way to win a war is to win it" and says he knows how to win wars. Jesus Wept. Of course, he doesn't know where the combatants are, and has said he spends a lot of time worrying about conflicts on the Iran-Iraq boarder (take a look at a map for a chuckle).
We need the baby boomer and cold warrier generations to die off and fast. The world passed you buy long ago, and is changing because of economic dependencies necessitating some level of international cooperation. Let the neocons go back to scaring small children, let's get America's citizens ready to function in a global economy, let's elect a president with a brain for a change. Besides, we no longer have a military anyway; Bush destroyed it for his pointless war in Iraq (Is Iraq now a U.S. protectorate or merely our oil storage tank?). McCain would probably get into a later about Georgia and bomb Atlanta.
McCain's Stability & Perception
McCain does not appear to be very stable and may be very unpredictable in a crisis. He does not seem to fully understand the Georgia situation, either.

It is frightening how many Americans (and others) think that Reality is a Cruel Hoax being played on them by George Bush and/or John McCain, and who seem to believe that their only hope is the Tooth Fairy (presently incarnate in Barack Obama) and who can save them if they utter and mutter slogans like "Hope and Change", War is not a Green Activity, etc. The previous remarks I see you have received sound like spoiled brats who think that if you smile at killers, they will smile atl you. (They will; and then they will kill you). Sorry guys, but Mr. Obama doesn't have a clue about how the real world works - how could he, surrounded by the likes of Jerimiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, Louis Farrakan, etc?

McCain is not the Great White Hope
I would like to tell the person that we are not spoiled brats because we don't have a love feast you have with McCain. I come from a long line of a military family with over 60 yrs military service. If McCain were a true soldier he would understand that going to war is the last thing you want to do. We must weigh all options. This attitude shoot first and than ask questions shows what kind of judgement McCain has. What I find funny is when people like you can't make a point you fall back on rev Wright, Ayrns so on and so on. You need to take off those glasses. We need to really study the issues. Bring up Obama isn't going to win an election unless McCain starts speaking about the issues. War is putting this country in a financial peril. So far I haven't heard what McCain's issues are.

I just read your report "McCain warns of 'Dramatically Different Relationship' with Russia. Then I read the various reader responses you have published. I don't find any war mongering, or threats of U.S. military intervention in Georgia by John McCain. I was totally unaware of how many of your readers apparently have brain lesions that have short circuited their ability to reason and comprehend. Shrill insistance that Up is Down and Down is Up, has no effect on Reality. And Reality can be devastating to those who think that Reality can be modified with slogans.

Why isn't everybody out there scared to death of McCain? He is unpredictable and off the wall. He has no business dispatching anyone anywhere. Why aren't Lieberman and Graham back in the Senate taking care of their constituents back home? Surely all of the citizens of their states are not all Republicans?? If that is true, why aren't the Democrats raising cain? I sure would be!! I don/t even like it that the candidates are getting paid their Senate salaries, but I guess that can't be helped.
The voting Republicans in this country had better take a long hard look at their candidate. He is beginning to look and sound like a really old mana who is stumbling and bumbling and making mistake after mistake. Do you really want to take the chance of 4 years under his guidance? We are supposed to vote for the good the the country and our government. McCain is scaring me to death! He is a war monger...the first solution occuring to him is war...attack and ask questions later. His attitude toward Russia is frightening. The way McCain is breaking out the righteous anger on Russia (and that he's conveniently forgetting that Georgia started this whole thing by killing Russian peacekeepers) this sounds like a manufactured event to give him something to look tough on, because McCain is laughably inept at campaigning on domestic issues.
