Hillary in Nomination at Democratic Party Convention
Kenneth Walsh implies in his article, What Role for Hillary Clinton at the Democratic Convention?, that Barack Obama is already the Democratic Party's nominee. This is blatant propaganda.
Barack Obama is not the nominee. Hillary Clinton could easily win the nomination.
The whole purpose of the convention is to have the delegates and superdelegates cast their votes in order to choose the nominee. Does the author not know this? I believe he does know. This is simply yet another example of the complicity of the mainstream media with the Democratic party leadership in perpetrating a fraudulent primary election.
Why does Walsh write that it is Barack Obama's decision whether to allow Hillary's name on a roll call vote? And why the word "symbolic?"
This word is more revealing than Walsh intends it to be! The whole primary election was "symbolic," i.e. a fraud. Obama did not win. He was selected before the fact by behind-the-scenes power brokers, and he only appeared to win, through media manipulation, strong-arm tactics, corrupt caucuses, and every manner of dirty politicking imaginable.
The Democratic party has been destroyed by corrupt power brokers behind the scenes.
There is no point in pretending this is not the case.
The millions of true Democrats who believe in fair elections, integrity, and true democracy will not accept this hijacking of the Democratic Party. There will either have to be a major cleansing of the party leadership, and very significant changes in its rules, bylaws, and processes, or we will leave the Democratic Party altogether. We may join alternative parties, we may declare ourselves Independents, or we may start a New Democratic Party.
Hillary Clinton's supporters are the true Democrats. We will not be hoodwinked, bought, bribed, threatened, or otherwise compelled to support or vote for a blatantly corrupt, demagogic, megalomaniac politician.
Hillary
They are trying to use Hillary without any respect or honor for her as a person. Shame on them. Ted Kennedy, Rep. Clyburn, John Edwards, Jimmy Carter, Chris Dodd especially, Ted Biden, John Kerry (who refused Clinton's help and then blamed Clinton for refusing his aid), Al Gore (who also shied away from Clinton's support, the turncoat Richardson--all of these bashed Hillary and put her down, mostly out of jealousy. So she will turn up at the convention and help the Democrats. Me, I would throw a fit and degrade them for calling Bill Clinton a racist and implying that Hillary was. What lies! Shame on them.
give it up liberals women were gyped by your own party
look folks the clintons had don e more good t stuff for african americans than any none in office in the past, these ignorant racict black people are blindly supporting obama, be smarter vote mcain and lets get real america
Hillary Clinton
If Mr. B. O. had any sense he would appoint Sen. Clinton Sec. of State or Attorney General. That is "If he wins" That is a big if! I am just as interested in getting the G.O.P. fumigation started as the next person but not at the expense of the democratic process. Bush, Cheney, Rove and the G.O.P. have done every manipulative, illegal, amoral, unconstitutional thing you could think of and then some to destroy the electoral process and steal the office. However, the Democrats have been their enabelers up untill the last Democratic primary. Then they became just like the G.O.P. by disenfranchising 10s of thousands of Democrat voters. Worse by totally screwing over one of their own because she was female with a chance of winning they revealed what total lieing sexists hypocrits they are. I see no difference between either party now! I certainly don't plan on remaining a Democrat. When both parties suck it's time question what the hell good they are! Party Politics
is at the core of almost every insurmountable problem we face as a country today. What totally pisses me off is for every vote I have cast for the last 8 years including the last primary exactly 0 have counted. Every one of those elections were tainted by rampant corruption and voter fraud on a massive scale. However, the last primary revealed such a sickening double standard promoted through illegal and blatant push polling by the media that it was as absolutely infurriating as it was unconstitutional! This issue is not about racisism it's about the hatred, and objectifiacation, and denigration of WOMEN!!!!!!! Of every race and every age. What was said about Sen Clinton is hate speech and not protected by the first amendment. On the contrary women are a protected class under the equal protection clauses of the 5th and 14th ammendments to the constitution, as is race, alienage, and national origin by virtue of similar historic discrimination. If even a hint of race was brought up you could hear the screaming all over the place but the sexist, mysogynistic, B.S. we were all subjected to as Clinton suppporters was met by silence or worse. All I have to say is the hipocrisy of all involved is deafening, and it will someday be their downfall. In the meantime the Democrats better find a way to stop the GOP from cheating again or B.O. will find himself in the " I won the election, but was too much of gentleman to point that out to the Republicans club" along with Gore and Carey. D.F.
Would never vote for Obama
I wanted Clinton. And since she isn't there. McCain has my vote. Even if Clinton is Obama's running mate. McCain still gets my vote.
It has nothing to do with him being black it is just I don't trust him.
Disrespect For Sen Hillary Clinton/Arrogance Eliteness
Obama is so afraid of Senator Clinton but will never admit it. He has distributed such disrespect for her as a female and a person during his campaign especially when he brushed his shoulders like the rappers do as though she was nothing but dust on his shoulders, which was very disrespectful, but he wants women voters to believe he will work for you and he cares for you,not true,he needs women to get into the white house. The black populations can not get him there alone. The ultimate disrespect for Sen Clinton is not to have her as his VP,to disregard eighteen million voters because of his eliteness and his wife who is definitely not a Clinton supporter because she knows that she would not be the most powerful woman in the white house and she can not handle that fact,so in order to let his wife have her way who by the way does really wear the pants in the family he is willing to do the most outrageous despicable act of all times, and that is to take away Sen Clinton's time in the history books. If he is not the center of things he does not want any part ie the "Troops Overseas" there would not be cameras,he could not shine or be in the spot light, and this is only one of several obvious things he has done to show that if he is not in control of things then he just fluffs it off.His agreement with Sen McCain for townhall meetings cancelled of course because he would not be in control of who is saying what,he does not want the american people to ask him real questions that matter because he would not be able to answer. He reminds me of a balloon full of hot air and once you stick a pin in it,you know it's all over the place this is the way he is with his issues and responses to them. He has repeatedly borrowed phrases and comments from Sen Clinton because he has none of his own. He requires large audiences because he does want that rock star disposition,he talks loud but says nothing. In an actual debate he would be shown up for who he really is, but when he is the only one behind the microphone he loves it. He has disrespected women as a whole during his entire campaign he catered to the blacks and now he is distances himself from them this is why the Reverend Jessie Jackson said what he did and he meant it,there are complaints in the communities as well. He has no time to go and vote in the Senate on issues pertaining to the voters, but he has the time when it advantageous to him to be on camera with the speaker for a photo op,so in essence he is like Hilton and Spears where there is a camera there he is talking loud looking important and saying nothing, get my meaning. Senator Clinton earned the right to be on the ticket as VP,but because she is more intelligent than he is he does not want her to show him up.By being the VP it would be easier for her to defeat him in 2012 and he just can's have that. But if she decides to run again she will defeat him anyway. So without her on the ticket his he may fall short of his goal,he needs to think again.
Let's Move ON
To all the persons who just want to keep the division in the Democratic party....move on. I can't understand how any "TRUE" democrate would post such comments, or feel the way they do unless they are "racist". It should not matter the color of the skin of our nominee...it should matter that we are being offered a real change from the last 8 years of the Bush policies. If we lose this election, it will not be because of the Republicans or John McCain. It will be because of our so called democrats that still want to cry that Hiliary did not win the nomination or that Obama is black. Look beyond the horizon people...move on and make a better country for everyone. Division is what causes losses...even the bible makes that clear... "A House Divided Cannot Stand". Let's STAND together. I was brought up in a middle class white society and I know how hard and deep feelings go, but I know that this is one white gal that is not ready to settle for 4 more years of Bush. LET'S GET IT TOGETHER!!!!
electability
hillary clinton won more populaqr vote t6hen obama. we in my state voted for clinton. we will not vote for obama. we will give this west virginia to senator john mccain. this is clinton country.i have never voted for a republician in my adult life but i will this time. and so will my family.
DNC
We women call it a "dusting n cleaning" and this is exactly what the DNC needs to do. Obama has missed alot of votes in Senate recently and has not done anything to promote his electability. Why on earth would Hillary remove her name? Leaving her is beneficial to her but could give Obama the "boot", that is why he is woorried. He has already changed his tune on issues he was so adimit about while campaigning against Hillary, and that is not floating very well.
Hillary as the keynote speaker, she scoffs at the idea, give it to your wife Obama. She will be our next President.
