Regarding Running Mate for Mccain
I feel that Mitt Rommy is the best candidate for Maccain as he is an honest man and has great integrity. He also has alot of expeience in finances and will be a great asset to help run this country. I also feel this will be the best chance for Maccain to win the election in Nov.
Obama's Vice Presidential Pick ...
No matter who Obama chooses for vice President, his pick will be more experienced and qualified than Obama himself.
Meg Whitman
I SO think McCain should nominate her! Outside of the Washington DC loop, her age balances his as does her sex. BHO can't nominate a woman unless it's HRC and that won't happen. Also, she's in California..seriously he should think about this. I paid CLOSE attention on Sat night to who each presumptive candidate said they would consult..she was one McCain would consult.
McCain's VP
Meg Whitman. She is young; she is smart; she is a good speaker and an economic whiz. McCain could surprise the pundits - and the world - and gain a lot of ground by choosing Meg Whitman OR Carly Fiorina.
McCain/Huckabee trounces Obama/xy ticket
About one year ago you could pick up any of the popular national news magazines and read several polls showing that Huckabee was the one most likely to win the Republican nomination - that when many were assuming Guliani was a clincher. The polls showed Huckabee. Now, McCain has the nomination, and who is best to choose for veep? Leaving everything else off the table, including religious ideology (there wouldn't have been a President Kennedy otherwise), Huckabee would pull in many liberal conservatives; he would convince stanch conservatives that McCain was worth their vote; he would pull in the vote of many of the average "working man" at the time when the US economy is in the pits with rising inflation, job loss, and mortgage foreclosures; he would pull in the vote of the religious who like it or not have a huge pull in national elections; and he would pull southern black votes away from Obama. If Obama chooses Clinton as his running mate then a McCain/Huckabee win would be slightly harder, but the fact of the matter is that even under those circumstances McCain/Huckabee has a better chance of winning the White House. It's quite remarkable that neither nominee have chosen their running mate as yet. Usually they've been announced by now. Obviously each is watching the other in order to play their cards right. But the best race would be a McCain/Huckabee and Obama/Clinton. Looking at it from all angles, there is no way McCain will win the White House without Huckabee on the ticket.
vp choice
I'd like to see Tom Ridge from PA as McCain VP choice. Man of integrity, stepped down because Bush tie his hands.
Mike Huckabee is the Man
I find it puzzeling as to why Mike Huckabee is never mentioned when discussing McCain's VP - Mike Huckabee is the only VP that would bring social conservatives, blue collar and the South. Choosing a "unknown" for VP would be a big mistake and would cause McCain the election.

“Claire McCaskill has life experiences that have uniquely placed her in a position to understand issues that face people of all walks of life. She can quickly recognize issues and make suggestions for solutions. Clearly, she inspires people, just as Barack Obama does,” says Reed.
“Our goal is to spread the word and start such a large wave that McCaskill is selected the Vice President candidate. She sure will not be ‘a sit around and watch’ Vice President,” says Jeff Kenkel Kenkel is co-chair of the National Go Claire VP Movement.
The organizers ask people to do anything they want to and can to spread the work. Some suggestions are at http://www.goclairevp.4t.com/
