Biden first and foremost is the candidate that can help Obama. First Biden knowledge of foreign affairs is unbeatable on either side of the aile. Second Biden has a strong record of accomplishments. Third Biden debate skills are strong with his vast knowledge of all the issues and his great wit. Last Biden would bring in the older voters, women and the working class voters with his average Joe approach and his hardworking get the job done attidude.

It has to be McCaskill to win!
1. Claire McCaskill needs to be the Vice Presidential Candidate to capture the female vote in November.
2. As Missouri goes so goes the nation. JOHN MCCAIN 50%
BARACK OBAMA 44% John McCain leads Barack Obama in Missouri , according to the latest Rasmussen Reports survey. When "leaners" are included in the survey, McCain leads Obama 50% to 44%. When just solid supporters are tabulated, the results changes slightly: McCain 48%, Obama 41%. Clearly Claire McCaskill as a dynamic campaigner can turn that around and help win Missouri and other states with her down home talking.
3. To run a real campaign based on “Change” having two candidates who are outside the beltway and that have not only the feel but the real pulse of the people.
Mr. Obama Please consider Senator McCaskill this week as you make your decision.

Why is General Wesley Clark not on lists for Vice President
I think former General Wesley Clark is the best choice for Obama's VP. He has been on NSA and has a huge number of stellar qualities. So why am I not seeing him on short or long lists?
Here is why General Wesley Clark is the BEST candidate for Vice President (actually, I wanted to vote for him as President but he wasn't running):
First and foremost, he has 30 years of military experience, and that is recent experience. John McCain's experience was 30 years ago and he did very little in that experience other than suffer as a prisoner of war. General Clark's comment that getting shot out of the sky doesn't mean one is qualified for the presidency is a true statement, however unartful.
General Wesley Clark as been a General and was the Supreme Commander of Nato's Bosnian campaign as well as the liasion to over 30 countries in that campaign. He successfully advocated for and implemented policies which, in the end, brought Milosevich to heal and brought an end to genocide. Clark is from and still lives in Little Rock, Arkansas and we certainly need to bring in the South in this campaign.
Clark is a Rhodes Scholar who speaks 7 languages. When diplomacy is more important than ever, this ability to communicate, along with his extensive experience doing so, could prove invaluable.
Clark's birth father was Jewish and he now has good relations with his Jewish relatives. This will help Obama with the Jewish community (though I, being Jewish myself, don't really understand the general trepidations about him among this community.)
Clark has worked IN the White House as an aide of some sort and has experience there.
Clark has served with the NSC and understands Security issues in detail.
Clark would be a great asset in helping Obama figure out a successful exit strategy for Iraq and I'm sure he supports Obama's diplomatic stance in regards to Iran.
Clark is an outsider, not a current or former senator and would fit Obama's quest to change politics.
Clark has voted both Republican and Democrat, though in recent years has strongly aligned himself with the Democrats. For some odd reason, McCain appears to be (though his recent record in the past 5-8 years shows otherwise), comes across as appealing to independents who also have voted for Republicans and Democrats. Clark could help sway these people to Obama.
I have heard Clark speak, during his campaign for presidency, and he speaks well and speaks to "family values", something we need to address if we are going sway Republican voters.
For all these reasons, Obama's team should be looking seriously at Gen. Wesley Clark.

He still seems to be the very best candidate from a region that the Democrats need to win in and have had trouble doing so.

Choose Hagel
It would be a great move if Obama were able to reach across party lines and choose Chuck Hagel because given his national defense and his unyielding lack of extreme partionship so ever present in both parties.
Undoubtely, Hagel's position on abortion is divergent from that of Obama's. However, is it not possible for them to still work together to find some common ground on this issue? Although admittedly idealistic, this could provide Obama with a powerful and practical opportunity to begin tearing down the truly devisive "blue states vs. red states" pathos that is currently undermining American politics.
As an American currently working in Korea during this election year, I am on the edge of my seat every day waiting for the latest development in "Campaign 08." As a political junkie of sorts, August has become for me akin to the month of December and the joy Christmas. I can't wait for the impending announcements of each candidate's running mate. Bring on the conventions and the debates!!!
