Equal rights to all

I agree with equal rights to all. I do not agree with changing things in our constitution to adapt to societies changes. What our government established years ago regarding what a marriage unit consists of has been working up until now and I think why make changes now because the world has become so liberal. Gay people should have rights like everyone else, I agree but marriage is between a man and a woman of adult age. Gay people should be able to do everything that everyone else does.

If gay people are allowed to marry then why not children?

Why can't a man or woman marry a dog or have sex with a goat and make babies? Because thats not best for our society. There will be a bunch of half animal and half humans walking around. Well actually monsters.

We need to think about what this decision will do to society as a whole. It is weakening our society and allowing peoples watered down itching beliefs to dictate where our country is heading.

Why do people care who is in a relationship who?

I have been following this issue for a while now and have yet to understand why people care so much who is in a relationship with who. Why does it matter to a "straight" man who another man sleeps with? Why should it matter to a "straight" woman who another woman marries? If God created everything in this universe then there is nothing wrong with being "gay" you can't make exception for a group of people. All you "heterosexuals" put yourself in their shoes, what if people were discussing how you're living a sin. All you Christians, you are supposed to spread the message of God and Love, not judge everyone because they live differently than you! Miss Dorothy Parker once said a very wise thing, she said, "Heterosexuality isn't normal, it's just common." and I agree with her. People will disagree with me, but I do believe that there is a saying that goes "From the lips of a child the truth speaks." or something along those lines, I'm 14, most people consider me a child. It isn't right to control someone else's life when a person barely has a grip on their own. Stop judging.

hello, I would just like to say that god gave the natural; instinct to love . I am not against god people including any body who loves one another (i am a sinner like every body , . but this is my theory I do not want to put the human species in extinction , ( speaking to the people of the world )

By man and woman taking matters into their own hand by loving the same sex in all the respect of them start a family, the option of adopting one day will not be there . there are 50.0000 abortions taking place a year , so that dream will no longer will be bullied ( no that is a issue people ,are breaking one of the ten commandment ) but beloved people whom choice to take matters in the own hands , there is a choice that you can make if you just ask Jesus is that the right choice ? he will answer you if you just ask !

I asked the lord to change my situation , which I acknowledge after reading the bible. then god made "the choice " I made go away, and made me a new person in Christ .

Not Everyone is Christian. Or Religious at all for that Matter.

Not all people in America are religious. A great deal of anti-gay rights believers dont realize that. This is going on with what Fatestrider said. Why should gays and lesbians be denied their basic rights. In the constitution it says that all americans are granted equal rights. Why should this exclude gays? Explain this to me without a religious concept and I will agree with you. Until this happens, I say equal rights to all.

Gay Marriage

I am catholic and I am gay. I believe in Adam and Eve, but how are we to kno that the loved eachother? How are we to know that they had sex and had kids? All we know is that they ate from the apple tree or whatever and died. How is to know what they felt about eachother? We won't ever know. It's like you won't ever know what it's like for a gay person in this world. Just because we are gay doesn't mean we are different. We are normal people living normal lives. Sure we might like the same sex, but why is it so wrong? If God knew it was wrong, why did he make us feel this way? Why did he make us feel the way we do about who we like? He made us for a reason and you anti-gay people need to understand that. And honestly why does it bother you so much that we are who we are? If we are in love then that should be enough. Love is the ultimate gift. So I think if you're in love you should be able to get married, heterosexual or homosexual.

There is no need to hate us. We aren't doing anything wrong. So just stop trying to ruin our happiness. Let us be happy with whoever we choose. It's not up to you to judge who we love.

God allows it, so should you.

Gay marriage should definitely be allowed in America. Who are you to tell somebody who they should love?

I'm an atheist, and I don't believe in 'Adam and Eve.' Even if there was an Adam and Eve, it was only Adam and Eve. Who's to say that if there was another man, Adam would love him? Who's to say if Adam and Eve even loved each other? I wouldn't think that some people would even oppose it.

You know what? I can't believe that this world has become so corrupted that you can tell us who to love! This is flipping ridiculous! Who do you think you are? There are still going to be gays, even if they restrict their marriage, it will still happen. You people make me sick. How could you even think about tell who you can love. What Happened to America?

I'm a christian and no religion has nothing to do with gay marriages. Common sense will tell you that in the beginning God did not create man and man!! He created man and woman. So, all this kahoops about banning or allowing gay marriages is a waste of our time. Our country has more bigger issues! See, the whole problem with America, we allow anything!! Just like we allow foreigners to come and practice their religion openly and but yet we bann prayer in public? We are soo mixed up as a people! As of right now, we suppose to be the riches country in the world, but we're a laughing stock right about now. Why? Because when we lost the purpose of the quote, "In God We Trust", and started trusting man, we just said, we only need to pray when something tragic happens! Even athiest believe in something! We as americans better get it together and the person that said it's not in the bible about gays, well, I don't know what bible you're reading. The bible teaches in the New Testament that, because the people wanted to serve "creation" and not the "Creator", they're minds became seared like a hot iron.
