Everyone should remember this saying! I see where Sen. Obama seem like he has walked in a lot of peoples shoes. That is why in my opinion he will serve this country the way it needs to be served. When you have been where other people are, you know what need to be done because you been there, done that. When you have been rich all your life and don't know what it is like to decide: what bill to pay this week, what will we eat tonight, or where will we stay when we don't make this rent payment; you can't run a country in the right way. This person, the rich, will only help his kind because the only shoes he has had on were name brand not the only thing you can afford.

So, instead of looking at color and just because you are tired of hearing something, think of the shoes you are wearing and decide who you think has been in them. Will it be McCain or Obama? Sen. Obama has great ideas. It will be some things he may not be able to get accomplished, but think, he means well and he is going in the right direction. He's not up there talking of himself only, he is talking of helping this country. There are a lot of people that are changing how they vote because of the mans' color. Color is not what you should be looking at, the politics are suppose to be your focus NOT COLOR. Change has to come sometime and when it come you will see it will not be bad at all. So, just put yourself in someone's shoes and think before you vote. A man that has seven houses you can believe don't have the middle class, poor, and the elderly in mind what-so-ever! Think about it! They have everything they need. They want for nothing. How can they know how it feel?

So to everyone that vote, please think serious and hard about what you do on election day and make the right decission on your part. These are serious times. Everything is not a joke. Hockey plays no part in politics!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so tired of hearing about poor Barack's struggle through life...Wake up!!! He went to a pestigous college prep school from age 10 to graduation, and let us not forget his grandmother who raised him during that time (you know the one he referred to as a "typical" white person) was a very sucessful Vice president of a bank in Honalulu (according to Barack that was a "middle management" job however)..He has had nothing but break after break in life, it's obvious, and I doubt very seriously did any "real" physical labor to speak of. He should have had my childhood (LOL), and then serve 21 years in the military, maybe then I would buy is obvious B.S.! But then again, I visited the website of his former church (he had to drop it because of negative publicity) he went to for so long, it left me in total awe! I could never trust anyone that could go to a RACIST church like that!

Definitely a Great Opportunity for the U.S.

To have someone so attuned to what regular people have to deal with making ends meet in America will be a welcome change. I really hope America is smarter this time around. George Bush was the ultimate silver spoon and McCain - boarding schools,"the Admiral's son", is in the same mold, just more gruff and grouchy. I really hope we avoid the downer that would be President McCain.

OBAMA ABOVE REPROACH?

What's most disturbing is how Obama is above reproach. It's become almost blasphemy to criticize him in anyway. Kudos to John Stewart for pointing this out in his comedy routine, but he'll probably catch flack for that, just like the rest of us. It's as if Obama has been packaged and sold to us as some kind of diety, when he's nothing more than a junior senator, with a thin resume, who voted present a hundred times at his job.

Our Next President

Dear Next Mr. President:

It gives me great pleasure to have the experience of seeing you on your way to the next presidency. I think you embody the true spirit of positive change for this country as well as the world. When John F. Kennedy was campaigning for the presidency I was just a kid and wished that I could vote. Of course I couldn't. Since then I was never inspired by any other presidential candidate to vote. Thus never did. I am 51 years old and have never voted. Can you believe that? Ironically many of my friends, family, business associates, teachers, and students also have the same story. BUT NOW, THAT'S DIFFERENT !

Thanks to you I have a reason to vote, participate, rally, and encourage others to engage in the process of creating and supporting positive change nationally and worldwide. If there is anything I can ever do to assist you please let me know. I also make some serious chilie. Obama seems to catch the fascination of everyone. My husband and i are not citizens of this country...but only visiting. But every time he is adressing the people of this country.....there is pin drop silence in our living room. It seems so easy and feels like every word he is saying oozes the truth. So not at all surprised that the people of this nation stand by him.
