Socialized medicine
Thanks to a life time of government medical care. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for every American. McCain is a poster child for socialized medicine.
cautious acceptance
how many people have seen anyone who takes steroids for arthritis of other reasons? ever notice that VERY recognizable side effect? those "chipmunk cheeks"are a visible side effect we recognize. it's not old person face sagging, but fat deposits that you see in everyone (like JFK)that takes drugs such as prednisone.it's like a walking billboard.it;s not part of his look in older pictures. hmmmmmmmmm Kennedy lied about taking steroids i wonder if anyone else is neglecting revelationof a very important fact?it has serious psychological impacts as well as other health issues. hmmmmmmm thing that make you wonder.
Can we call it SOUR GRAPES?
Does the sun ever shine in Ilinois? It certainly doesn't seem to shine on you, Sunshine.
Are you afraid that Mc Cain will die soon or that he will live on?.
McCain's Health
The democrats wish nothing better than declaring that Mr. McCain is, more or less, on the brink of the grave at 71 or that he would expire in office within a couple of weeks. Not so fast. For example, someone who is able to participate in the grueling, to say the least, presidential primaries is not standing with one foot in the grave. The man is not stupid. He himself, and no one else truly knows how he feels. And apparently he feels good! So let the age-discrimination subside, and cheer Mr. McCain on to the White House. He deserves it. And, he is immeasurably capable! All ye naysayers, you should stay a couple of weeks in the Hanoi Hilton and see how you would fare. Not very well, methink!
McCain snowjob
Come on Bernandine! "Impressed" by a controlled group of 20 or so invited media (few from print media and non from the NYTs) allowed 3 hours access to 1,200 pages of records. How many pages went unread so we will never know what was on them? I noted one paper reported ABNORMAL blood sugar readings - is he type 2 diabetic yet ,meaning he wil have higher possiblities of heart attack and stroke. Did you note another source said his HDL (good cholosterol reading) is at 35 which places him in the highest risk category for future heart problems? Did you mention his cataract surgery, vertigo, arthritis and future liklihood of shouldar and knee replacement surgery? It sounds to me as if his body is showing his age. As a Dr. can you report whether an individual inherits his mothers or his father's genes? His father died at 71 of a heart attack and his grandfather at 60. Sounds like a 50-50 chance of good genetics to me. And remember his HDL is low, not a good sign for heart health down the road. How can you be so impressed by this dog and pony show, unless you are part of it.
