Her family background

I had read that her maiden name is Krishnamurthy, she is Tamilian perhaps a Brahmin. why is there no mention of her husband Nooryi sounds like a muslim name. Is she married to one

what does he do ? is she still married to him. I am curious. A fellow Tamilian, my father's name is Krishnamurthi.

Encouraging and noteworthy

I was a bit disappointed when I heard some Indian woman will be leading Pepsico. I felt women need to lead diffrent kind of organizations than mainstream hardcore profit driven corporation with unhealthy softdrinks and snacks. I must say it is not an easy job to slowly steer such a company consciously towards purpose, health and prosperity and change mindset and culture of the people involved and affected by pepsi products. I wish her all the best and sending it to my daughter.

about indira nooy

she is awesome

Anti-American creep

"This analogy of the five fingers as the five major continents leaves the long, middle finger for North America, and, in particular, the United States. As the longest of the fingers, it really stands out. The middle finger anchors every function that the hand performs and is the key to all of the fingers working together efficiently and effectively. This is a really good thing, and has given the U.S. a leg up in global business since the end of World War I.

"However, if used inappropriately -- just like the U.S. itself -- the middle finger can convey a negative message and get us in trouble. You know what I'm talking about. In fact, I suspect you're hoping that I'll demonstrate what I mean. And trust me, I'm not looking for volunteers to model. "

a bit premature, don't you think?

......so why would such an intelligent, diverse and caring leading change the graphics on Pepsi/Diet Pepsi (should have left the globe alone - smiles, smirks, seriously?), refocus on CSD's, and fail to spend appropriate time with bottlers understanding their needs while consumers finally realize tap water is a viable alternative to Aquafina schill. Let's not cast our votes prematurely' the jury is still out on Indra. She needs to prove her worth just like her predecessors - and it will no doubt be a rough road ahead. We wish her well.
