bonus insanity

don't just blame the greedy executives;after all, if someone walked up to you and said" hey, here's a million bucks(courtesy of the taxpayer,of course),do you want it?"what would you do? i think the real problem here is with our government which is obviously(and has been for generations) in collusion with wall street and big business.in case anyone wasn't paying attention,a large amount of money(165 million dollars!)was stolen from american taxpayers earlier this year and given to some of the employees at AIG.this happened in broad daylight right in front of our eyes, and despite some public blustering from a few members of our illustrious congress, absolutely nothing was done to recover any of this stolen money.i'm not sure how it could be done but i think the only real solution would be to clean house and replace just about every single member of the government.

AIG Bonuses

What is WRONG with these people? What performance??? They are only still in busines because they got a huge handout from the government(and the American taxpayer). Can they possibly be serious and would Kenneth Feinberg even entertain such a notion? If so, then he'd better be prepared to explain his rationale to taxpayers like myself. This is the very defintion of insanity....doing soemthing over & over, expceting a different outcome. Somebody please stop this nonsense & stop rewarding these greedy & incompetent executives.

Relax....this is the CHANGE everyone wanted...RIGHT-??

Everyone wanted Obama's CHANGE.... your getting it (PENNY, NICKELED & DIMED to

DEATH ......Wake Up America-!!!!!!!!!

Time to start a revolution!!!

I say skin them alive!! I work 2 jobs to make ends meet, worry about how my kids are going to go to college not to mention the other 100 daily problems that plague the "average" family. Every day people lose their job or suffer some other financial loss. These clowns want more money? For what? They should be given the pink slip with an I.O.U.

AIG Bonuses

How much more of this will we taxpayers be forced to pay??

Since the government's retirement & health insurance is with AIG--what should we expect. I've had my fill of this!!!

AIG

They should be all investigated for fraud, malfecense of office, money laundering and be in jail for the corruption that they have dumped on the American people....NO WAY more money to those incompetents!!!!!!

Reward the people who created the disaster...it's the how the system works.

First, zillions of taxpayer dollars are given, no strings attached, to the greedy white collar criminals who caused the crash, now they are being rewarded! This insanity that was launched by Bush and continued by Obama will go down as one of the most idiotic events in history. If the intent was to keep the economic system floating, it would have been a lot smarter to give the taxpayers all that cash. If each family received money to pay down their mortgages, the banks would have recovered. If each family was given a coupon to buy an American built car, the domestic auto makers would have been bailed out. And every individual would have gotten out of debt and would have had money to spend, revitalising the economy. Instead, we have banks hoarding the money given to them (there are virtually no mortgages being processed and no commercial lending). The auto companies will sink, hitting bottom with the bail out money because Americans have no incentive to buy domestic cars. So the glorious results of the bail out have been so far: The Real Estate industry is dead, homeowners can't sell their de-valued homes...and nobody can get money to buy them, small businesses can't borrow money, food prices are thru the roof, and this system is heading for a total collapse. The only "stimulus" is that the end has been accelerated.

Shut them down.

AIG's executives need to suffer thru this recession just like the rest of us. No bonuses until all taxpayer money has been returned! Their continued greedy behavior leads me to think the best course of action is let them go under.
