Will the Blagojevich Corruption Scandal Be a Distraction for Obama?

Change We Can Believe In

I believe that Mr. Obama is going to change friends over and over and over.

I guess that's better than bringing the Chicago style politics to the White House. If he did that who knows what might be on Ebay?

3 days 2 night in the Lincoln bedroom - only $25,000.00

A pair of F-22 fighters - only $32,000,000.00

Watching Obama bring Chicago poltics to DC - Priceless

Obama's chickens have come home to roost!

Citizens Just Losing What Faith Might Be Left

Fear that Obama's former pals will haunt him throughout his term in office. Rezko is already in jail -- and he was an associate. Blagojevich was in fact endorsed by Obama during his runs for governor. Are we supposed to believe that Obama is just a poor judge of character, or should he learn to wink like Palin when he really doesn't mean what he says?? You cannot associate with pigs without getting muddy. Obama has really associated with some real porkers!! Change we can believe in?? DON'T THINK SO!!

SAD!

Scandal

It is only the beginning, there will be more as human nature is sinful. Power corrupts. Obama is no angel either, another lawyer, politician and Democrat from Illinois.

The TEFLON Kid with the tall car

Another "friend" thrown under the car!

We are talking about the Chicago machine

This shouldn't be a distraction, but it could become one if Mr. Obama doesn't learn from history, it has been the scandals but the cover ups and the not coming forward with full disclosure that have gotten most people in trouble.

Mr. Obama needs to provide all communications between himself, his staff and Blagojevich. He needs to make anyone available to the FBI. and finally he needs to fire anyone that has done anything that "might" be seen as being a part of this. If he doesn't the FBI will continue to look under every stone, and talk to every person they can and when this happens you never know what might happen. Look at S. Libby, his problem wasn't what started the investigation, but an issue that developed because of the investigation.

Who cares? you should, if you can't trust the government to be a fair system in this country nothing else will really matter. 50k from a school so they get their grant, kick backs to get business, and on and on. This does matter because this type of activity underminds everything and everyone in this country.

Blagojavich

The Illinois Governor is arrogant and out of touch. This is a temptation many with power are faced with. The problem with Blagojavich is not that he failed but that he was so very arrogant. Pride comes before a fall, says the bible...

Distraction.. shouldn't be. We've got other things to worry about like this economy!

heard he was fighting Rahm ?? HA

Excuse me Mr. Obama...

...but where can I get one of those nifty teflon suits?

Who cares?

Chicago, Cook County, and Illinois Cesspool

This is the pond from which the obama Messiah has risen. It would be better for the country now if the national media would act in the interest of the citizens instead of playing vicious guard dog for the Chosen One. The double talk and 'misstatements' have already started flying. No one person is bigger than country. If obama falls flat on his face and we have start over, then fine. If a country of 300 million people has the attitude that it could only succeed if one particular person is the leader, then, frankly, that's not much a country anyway.
