What is wrong with people??
Life is life, a mother is givin her baby to protect it for the 9 months when the baby is in her womb. The baby can feel and know the comfort of the mother while inside. For a women to think it is ok to kill her baby is sick. To rip the baby a way from the place were it is suppose to feel safe as it grows to be strong enough to deal with being out of the womb is just soooo wrong. God, tells us to protect life on all levels, a baby that is in the womb may not be able to speak for its self but, it can feel pain. So as a pair on scissors cuts the lil baby apart it feels that pain or as a chemical peels the babys skin away soo the baby dies the baby feels it or as the mother is givin a drug to make her contractions soo hard that it beats her baby out of her, her baby feels it. Or the worst of all as the baby is being born at 9 months the mother has the doctor stab the baby in the head so that the baby is dead before the baby is able to be fully born, the baby feels all that pain. So before you think it is ok to abort a baby think about how it would feel to do those thing to you. Do you want to die in those ways? Do you want to feel that pain? If not then why on earth would you think it ok for a baby to feel that pain at any stage of life? So God bless all the unborn and I pray that poeple see the wrong in killing babies and the world changes for the better.
Life should be protected
It seems that the only realistic point to say that life begins is at conception. There is no other milestone in the pregnancy sequence of events to outweigh the importance of conception. All the profanity and anger about wanting to make your own personal life choices cannot change the fact that once conception has taken place you are now deciding for TWO people, not just the mother. If life begins at conception then we are supposed to be responsible to protect the babies inside the moms. This is also regardless of whether anyone offers to adopt, put up money for the raising or any other assistance for a child.

At the time abortion became legal birth control was in its infancy. Now birth control is easily obtainable. The freedom of choice act will also allow paying for birth control. The time to choose is before you get pregnant. Choose abstinance,pills,implant,foam,rubber,diphram or any number of other options. I am pro choice but not as a means of birth control as it has become. There are cases where it is justified. Late term abortion is wrong no matter how you look at it. There is plenty of time for termination before a baby is viable.
Take ownership
If you stop someone from having an abortion, then you need to take responsibility and help to raise that fetus for the next 18 years. Otherwise you are just being a semen donor nothing else.

Gee, "Mr.Bronx", can you spell AD HOMINEM? Women commit legalized murder every every day, some liberation! Equating abortion with war is a shaky and specious argument. My gender, religion, and views are mine, as yours are yours, and my rights are just as importance as is your pompous, self importance so beautifully displayed here. Get a life, and stop insulting others whose views do not coincide with yours.

It is amazing that if you harm or kill a dog,cat or horse etc you would be arrested, fined and/ or jailed. Yet if you abort a human fetus you are hailed as a liberated woman and hero of the Republic.If you partial birth a child and kill it or try to abort it and it still lives you do not have to provide medical support since you are also exercising your right to chose. Such is the current state of thinking in our country...how did it come to this.

I'm sure ChristmasTree of NY is a man, not much of a man but a man nonetheless. There isn't one Pro-lifers who can tell me how they can justify supporting a president and a party that sees war as a way to solve everything and supports the NRA and doesn't support a healthy environment. It's easy for the men, they can make a baby and walk away. If Christmastree is a woman then I'm sure she's beyond child bearing years but I doubt it. THAT post is definitely from some cranky misogynist man who hates the fact that women are asking for a say in her own future and probably just thinks women should be subservient to anybody with a penis.

We might settle some of our economic problems if political anarchists were not allowed to hide behind tax exempt religious exemptions. The Catholic priest in South Carolina who told his parishioners that they would be expelled from the Church if they voted for Obama, the Mormons who voted their religious convictions into an amendment in California, the Jesus freaks who made a mockery of the Terry Schiavo affair in Florida, and all the self righteous nuts who believe that their vision of heaven must be good enough to die for, even if it takes the death of the Constitution and the idea of equality and justice for all with them, all would get a reality check instead of a welfare check, if they were held accountable to the IRS instead of mother church.
Abortion Foes
Abortion foes are rallying to press the new president regarding abortion and funding health clinics in foreign lands. Their time would be better spent pressuring the pro-life congressmen and women they elected. Of course, most of these members, just like President Bush, run on pro-life platforms, but tell me what President Bush and the members in congress have actually done to to further their agenda once they are in office? They know that they would be poking a stick in a hornet's nest if they tried. They talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk. They also con pro-lifers to believe that they will act and do something just to get their votes.
Safe Haven
So a better alternative is to drop a sobbing,confused,12 year old,pleading with his mother,off at a "Safe Haven" in Nebraska?Like a father of 10 dropping off 9 of his children because his wife was dead?Alot of good Right to life has done in 3rd world countries as well.They will not teach safe sex or about birth control because it is not the Christian thing to do.Yet,AIDs and over-population and starvation are rampant.There are more pressing issues than this to rally against President-Elect Obama.I applaud President-Elect Obama.These are the same people who are against privacy and choice and also speak out against life saving research like stem-cell research.
