America's Power Is Most Certainly Not Declining, Says Key U.S. Diplomat

The power is all brawn

We were once a great power in both brawn and brains.

The economic malfeasance that has gone on for at least

the past 7+ years has brought our credit-financed

economy to a virtual standstill and, indeed, we are

now in a 'negative growth' situation. Yes..we can

invade countries, kill people there, including

thousands of our own, but when it comes to decisions

that require common sense and thorough knowledge

of economics, we have become virtual weaklings on

both the governmental and personal levels.

Can we change all of this? We certainly can but

we can't just sit around in front of our boob tubes

and 'leave the driving' to the heads of state or

our 'elected' representatives. It is up to each and

every American to get up on our feet, roll up our

sleeves and DO something about it. Mommy and Daddy

won't do it for us and neither will God. If we

don't wake up we will die in our sleep.

Obama will weaken America's position

After Obama slashes defense spending as he has promised (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o84PE871BE), cozies up to our enemies, and leads us into defeat in Iraq, thereby demoralizing our military and emboldening Al Quaeda, and is weak in the international test that Joe Biden says is certain, our standing in the world will be diminished.
