I hope Sarah Palin runs for president in 2012. I would gladly join her campaign and do all that I can to help get her elected. she's a real person. right now members of the democratic party (which I will longer for for) are all jumping on the "let's see how much money we can get and spend" band wagon. They'll do anything Obama says to get in good and further their own personal gains, they are no longer looking at what is really good for the American people. Greed has taken over our federal (and some state) governments. Sarah Palin is not one of the vultures. She is a down to earth person that I respect. When running for VP last year I know i saw extreme jealously in the eyes of many women reports who were viscious from the get-go when Sarah Palin came on the scene. The media had decided on Obama because they knew he would give them endless stories to write about (it was for personal gain) and anyone in his way was attacked by the media. It is a shame when someone has to find fault of a person to the degree that "worried of AK" did. I was also raised in Alaska, graduated there, went to college there, dropped out, got married and returned 15 years later to recieve my nursing degree.

That does not mean she is an idiot to take 6 years to get her degree. At least she has one and went on to become a sucessful, articulate woman. The ethics complaints you have mentioned against her were also found to be false. You seem to have forgotten the rest of the story.

And foreign matters? Have you considered how much coastline Sarah Palin was responsible for protecting, and from how many countries? Oh, she knows about foreign matters and about defense.

If you want to slam someone, how about slamming Catie Curic when she asked Mrs. Palin, "What do you read?" Uh.... HELLOOOO...'WHAT DO YOU READ?' Did she expect her to say "The Moose Journal?" Alaska is a very sophisticated state, and so is Sarah Palin.

It sounds like petty jealousy from your standpoint. You forget she is the first governor to ever obtain an 80% approval rate during her short term as governor. She stands tall for what she believes in and she believes in her state and her nation. You judge her but you need to take a closer look at your own motives.

1. Sarah Palin espouses a religion that demands the bringing about of armageddon in preparation for the coming of christ, as well as the creation of an army of followers to forcibly convert members of other faiths.

2. Sarah Palin passed a law that forces rape victims to pay for their own rape kits thus victimizing these people a second time. In addition she believes that an abortion should only be allowed if the woman is in danger of dying because of the pregnancy.

3. Sarah Palin believes that the solution to overhunting is to kill wolves despite the well known fact that wolves strengthen the herds by culling only the weakest members, unlike human hunters, which remove the best specimens from the breeding pool and who are the real cause of the decline in the herds.

4. Sarah Palin received several hundred thousand dollars of building materials in return for her giving a major building contract without taking any bids, and allowing that contract to go over even the already very generous budget.

5. Sarah Palin dropped out of college several times before completing even a very basic journalism degree, and despite a background in journalism cannot name a single newspaper.

6. Sarah Palin supposedly supports family values however her unwed teenage daughter has had a child.

7. Was under investigation for having illegally fired Alaska’s Public Safety Commissioner because he would not fire her her ex brother-in-law during his divorce with her sister. She also illegally publicly disclosed protected information from his personnel file.

In addition she filed a complaint against herself so that it would be handled by her own staff rather than being properly investigated by any outside uninvolved parties.

8. Thinks that because she saw another country from over its borders she is somehow qualified to discuss foreign matters. To make matters worse not only is it not possible to see Russia from her home as she thinks, but she is closer to Canada than Russia.

Palin thinks dinosaurs co-existed with people 4000 years ago and cannot comprehend that something written by some hallucinating nutjob with a god complex in a tent in the middle east trying to impress a few followers thousands of years ago would be less reliable than the combined researches of tens of thousands of scientists all independently checking and rechecking each others work for the slightest flaws.

10. Sarah Palin used to smoke marijuana when it was legal in Alaska (however it was still a federal crime at the time) but currently is opposed to legalization.
