Same Sun Same Song

Geez, where do i begin, clergymen dudes crack me up.O.K. going back to the bible and that great passage-Nothing new under the sun.In Jesus`s day there were,if i`m not mistaken, at least two sects of jews, saducedes and pharacedes(don`t know if spelling it right). But anyway, they arguing over something or another in the LAW,and Jesus came along and told them something to the affect, that you know you guys are suppose to be leading the people and here you are arguing among yourselves. How are the people, whom i have intrusted into your hands are to have trust in you? Here we are some thousands of years later, and the same old song is playing.Nothing new under the sun.

The Oldest Catholic Church Is Located In Baltimore. The One and only issue in this election is: Whether The U. S. Naval Academy should remain in Annapolis, Maryland?

By: Jordan C. Fan, Prophet Of Environment

The whole American election boils down to just one (1) and Battle Ground State = Armageddon (literary) = Maryland State.

The are only four possibilites:

(1) Obama got elected. Maryland vote for Obama. Naval Academy stay in Maryland.

(2) McCai got elected. Marylad vote for McCain. Naval Academy stay in Maryland.

(3) Obama got elected. Maryland vote against Obama. Naval Academy stay in Maryland. It not feasible for Obama to relocate the Academy because it generate income to the state of Maryland. Many Black live in Maryland. The only thing Obama can do is to send in his secret police and get rid of his Black traitors.

(4) McCain got elected. Maryland vote against McCain. McCain relocates the Naval Academy. The problem is Arizon is the most arrid or driest place in the U. S. The entire state is a desert and Grand Canyon. How can a Naval Academy locate in a place with no water? So during this election McCain can campaign by saying if him was elected and Maryland vote against him then he will relocate to the state where there is plenty of water. So where else but the Great Lake and Illinois. McCain can also suggest other Great Lake states such as Ohio, Michigan, New York, Wisconsin, or Minnesota depending on who are going to elect him. So people in Illinois will vote for McCain and Maryland will have no choice but also vote vote for McCain. Since Maryland is the Black Capital near the nation's Capital and Illinois is a Black State, if Obama loses there, then their is no way he can win this election. The main issue and prize for this election is nothing else but the Naval Academy in Maryland.

The One and only issue in this election is: Whether The U. S. Naval Academy should remain in Annapolis, Maryland?

The whole American election boils down to just one (1) and only one:

Battle Ground State = Armageddon (literary) = Maryland State.

An important presidential election record will be broken this year, it is not the first time a woman or Black person will be elected to the Executive office. We will be seeing the greatest American tragedy unfolding right before our eyes. It is one of the rare occasions when a native son will not be elected by his own state. To make it worse, such native son is the greatest hero in an area which has always been the pride and joy of that state. Correct me if I am wrong. I have hardly heard any one at the Repulican Convention or during their campaign mentioned the Annapolis Naval Academy, not even McCain himself. Being born in Panama to a naval family and travel all over this country and the world, McCain really does not have a true home. Arizona is a state he used for election to Congress which he has not visited frequently. The Navy Academy is the only place McCain can really call his home in which he had spent the happiest time of his college life with his navy friends. Maryland should welcome her naval son with open arms and elect him as president.

But, no! Maryland have 1.6 million Black or approximately 30 % of the state's population making it the "Black Capital" near of the real Capital of the nation. It was 36 % to 61% (almost double) in favor of Obama over Hillary during the primary here. All media and people in Maryland have expressed the sad fact that little or no Marylanders will vote for McCain. I personally don't like McCain very much but my conscience forced me to campaign for him. This episode is not only the greatest disgrace of all Americans but also of that of the human race. It is an unforgivable sin committed by all Marylanders especially its Black racists. People will ashame to live in Maryland. I am making suggestion to our Government to relocate its Naval Academy out of Maryland. The true and only battle ground states, for this election, are not Ohio, Florida or Michigan but Maryland. The decision is not who is going to become president? But whether God had made a mistake in creating man?

With this letter I have ended this election right here and now! All of you should know that it will be impossible for Obama to win without Maryland.

Again, the whole American election boils down to just one (1) and only one:

Battle Ground State = Armageddon (literary) = Maryland State.

The One and only issue in this election is: Whether The U. S. Naval Academy should remain in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Puritan Religious Values Of Sarah Palin. The Complete Political Incorrect Political Analysis Of Sarah Palin.

By Jordan C. Fan, Prophet Of Environment.

Since Palin is from the West, those battle ground states such as Alaska, Oregon, Hawaii and Washington State can be won more easily by Republicans. There is also potentials for a California victory which will definitely be decisive on the whole election. Obama was born in Hawaii, Obama's defeat there will be his greatest humiliation. Alaska is on of the biggest oil producing state. When oil drilling is the nmber one issue in this election, being a governor of Alaska will certainly help. Alaska is also the last remaining wilderness of the U. S. A. It will be a good opportunity for the Republican to show their concerns of the Environment by using her. Palin is a woman therefore will attract women voters. She is young, very pretty with great sex appeal to straight men and lesbian women. Her pregnant teenage daughter will draw sympathy from those who were teenage unwed mothers and pro-life anti-abortion voters. Single mothers will also be attracted to the Republican Party. She represents traditional White families of Puritan values as opposed to those predominately single parent unwed mother type Black families. Neither McCain nor Palin are political correct. They only speak the truth and are very "genuine, what you see is what you get!" as quoted from the Alaskan Republican Convention delegates. She represents White people who have been displaced from the lower 48 states due to crimes and harassment from Blacks there. Those White people have little or no choice but to seek Northern Exposure living in Alaska for peace and quiet. They will certainly revenge Black intimidation and harassment. McCain's situations is quite similar. After the Civil War, the U. S. was destabilized by its Black minority. The only way to unite this country was to destabilize other nations and the world. To achieve that goal, the U. S. had to invade other countries such as Vietnam. McCain was a pawn and victim of such U. S. aggression. He certainly will blame African American for that. Palin was the military commander of the Alaskan Air National Guard which are useful experience for a future Commander-in-Chief of this country because Alaska is bordering Russia and near China and Japan with one fourth of all U. S. nuclear missiles located in that state. McCain who was also a professional soldier himself will feel comfortable working with Palin. Among both Republican and Democratic Party tickets Palin is the only one with executive and administrative experience . All other candidates McCain, Obama and Biden have only legislative experience. It is impossible for Obama to survive the harish punishments from God.

"Appointment" of Archbishop of Canterbury

The way in which you describe the process by which a person becomes ABC does indeed sound very "colonial." It might have been more helpful to your readers to refer them to the Archbishop of Canterbury's website (http://www.archbishopofcanterbury.org/854) which describes the process in more detail. Although the voting body is considerably smaller than in the election of an American Episcopal Bishop, the Archbishop of Canterbury is essentially chosen by the people (clergy and laity) of the Archdiocese of Canturbury. The Crown Appointment has become largely ceremonial, although still a very real part of the process.

It might be argued that because the ABC holds such an important position withing the whole of the Anglican Communion, he (or she????? someday????) should be elected by some process involving the whole of the Communion, but I don't think anyone seriously envisions that at this point. It is ironic, in my opinion, that some of the conservative branches of the Communion are calling for the Archbishop to have more authority over the provinces, when the provinces have not participated in his election. For him to do so -- now that WOULD be truly "colonial."

One gay Episcopalian's response to Lambeth part 2

I am sending a letter to every Colorado congregation offering to provide them with a copy of the movie if they will show it and discuss it.

And now, I am writing the Colorado Episcopalian, reaching out to every person who cares about full inclusion, and asking each of you…to do something.

Like many of your GLBT sisters and brothers, I find it an almost daily struggle to remain in the Colorado Episcopal Church. But I am here. I am a cradle Episcopalian. I waited, impatiently, for women to be ordained. And now I wonder whether if “in the fullness of time,” the Colorado Episcopal Church becomes a fully inclusive, welcoming diocese…will I even be alive to see it.

My children are African American. I have participated in many aspects of the Civil Rights movement in this country. I was involved in the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa. Bishop Desmond Tutu equates homophobia with apartheid. I know that God loves me. I want the church to love and value me as well. If you care, please do something.

Resolution

We support full inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) people in every aspect of the life of St. Thomas Church, and of this diocese.

We support offering ALL of the Sacraments, including Marriage/Blessing of a Relationship and Ordination, to all of God’s People, including, of course, GLBT people.

We agree with Nobel Peace Laureate and South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who says, homophobia is “a crime against humanity” and “every bit as unjust” as apartheid.

We believe that our church, which offers Blessings to Animals, must no longer deny them to committed monogamous couples.

We believe that the GLBT members of this congregation are part of the Body of Christ.

We believe that silence can be interpreted as consent, and we can no longer be silent.

We believe that justice delayed is justice denied, and that the time for action has come.

One gay Episcopalian's response to Lambeth part 1

Issues of Inclusion: One Episcopalian’s Response

By Elizabeth Bennett

The Lambeth Conference was a time of personal pain for many Colorado Episcopalians. Many of us read Bishop O’Neill’s blog, and also Bishop Gene Robinson’s. It is hard to realize that five years have passed since Bishop Gene Robinson’s election, which caused me to rejoin the Episcopal church. In 2004, I was married in Massachusetts to my female partner of 25 years…in the Episcopal church where I had grown up. Our multiracial children were there, and our families and close friends. I have a strange sense of time warp as Colorado continues periods of discernment, with tightly parsed half-a-loaf-acceptance for me and others like me.

My church, St. Thomas in Denver, which is celebrating its centennial this year, has a long tradition of work for social justice. St. Thomas has been an “open and affirming” church for years. Early meetings of Integrity were held in our parish hall; Charles Sparks has been at the vanguard of the fight for inclusion of GLBT people for more than 30 years. We have four gay and lesbian couples with a combined total of more than 65 years of commitment. The clergy, vestry, and congregation have struggled mightily with “the elephant in the room”: the issue of full inclusion of GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered) people in the Episcopal church.

St Thomas had classes about the first Bishop’s Task Force. The vestry and rector sent a letter to the Bishop in 2004 urging an end to the period of “passionate patience” he requested of us. Four more years have gone by since then.

So the Diocese breaks my heart, but the people at my church warm it… what should I do in this environment? I struggle to find the appropriate answer…but it must must surely be “DO SOMETHING!”

So here are some of the things I have done. Two other members of the congregation and I presented a Resolution to the annual meeting, a sort of Martin Luther “Here I Stand-I Can Do No Other.” (see sidebar.) Consideration of the resolution engendered enormous discussion, listening, tears, and warmth. And in the end, it passed almost unanimously.

I write…to the Bishop, the Priest in Charge, the Vestry.

Most Sundays, in Prayers of the People, I request prayers for GLBT people unable to be ordained, or unable to have their relationships blessed, or unable to be included with their Brother and Sister Bishops. I believe in every service, we should pray for the people being denied a seat at the welcome table.

I talk about it. In church, at coffee hour, in committees, in adult education.

I have gone to our vestry three times over the years, asking for action, asking personally, asking with tears.

I hosted a showing of THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO, the magnificent movie with Bishop Gene Robinson, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Rev Peter Gomes, Richard Gephardt, which debunks the biblical “imperative” to shun homosexuals, and humanizes us and our families.

Anglicans and the bibie

I agree that all religions should adhere to the bibie !!! What is the bibie?

Any good Roman Catholic will tell you that the Anglicans have been going downhill for their entire history, but they reached the bottom when they started ordaining women. The Pope would never make that mistake. It's bad enough we let women drive cars and vote and play golf (on the weekend, even). None of that would happen in Uganda.

The last time the Anglicans had a leader who truly upheld the bibie, he was a man who knew how to handle women. He married eight of them and knew what to do when they got out of line.
