Just because half the news sites seem to favor the democratic canidate Obama doesn't mean he will win. It's such a common mistake for people to believe what people say and see they don't perform. Take a look at last election. Kerry was almost promised he would be in office, yet, people obviously took to heart he was a fool and had nothing going for him. I find Obama awfully damn similar. McCain is more experienced by far and will prevail. Change in the form of Sen. Obama is not needed in this country.

This article is full of shit

This article should just say. We want Barack Obama to become President

Why do people say that McCain cannot win? Do people underestimate America's capacity for bigotry and xenophobia? I certainly do not. I think that the GOP will unite behind McCain eventually, to do their best simply to prevent America having the first non-white president in it's history. Rednecks and bigots are going to vote en masse this Novemeber for McCain just like they came out to vote en masse for Clinton.

Conservative means angry white men who hate seeing their ethnic majority continue to slip..I think it is down to 66% nationally.

Who the hell is Ron Paul? While you are at it, why don't you just pull several names out of the air and nominate them all.

Dump McCain!!

The Iranians shouldn't worry about either McCain or Obama (especially McCain since he will never get elected anyway). Obama would be too busy wasting our tax dollars on government handouts to concern himself with Iran. But, as long as we are talking about McCain, let's talk about throwing the bum out to save him the embarrassment of losing.

The best thing that we can do for our nation is NOT nominate John McCain at the GOP convention!! Ron Paul is the only real choice we have and is more than qualified, has a plan that will work and will lead our nation honorably. Ron Paul can raise the money, get people excited and has the best chance of beating Obama of all the other Republican candidates. The GOP would be foolish not to nominate Ron Paul!

It's not too late to admit that McCain is a bad choice and to remedy the situation. If no one is excited about McCain now, they surely won't be two months from now. Get the geezer out now so we won't have a 1996 repeat of Bob Dole! McCain can't win if he doesn't have the support of the conservative base and nothing is going to change that, plain and simple! There will not be a last minute exodus of disgruntled Republicans this time around to save him when most people are finally rejecting the worn-out lesser of two evils argument. If McCain remains as the nominee until November, he will destroy the Republican Party and run its members out; to most likely join the Libertarian or Constitution Party. This wouldn't necessarily be a bad scenario; only one that is long over due!
