Liberals applaud the Supreme Court's decision granting Guantánamo Bay prisoners access to U.S. courts, with special praise for Justice Kennedy. Conservatives (who love Justice Scalia) wonder whether POWs will be allowed into the courts and whether the Nuremberg verdicts are now unconstitutional. Some even argue that the president's wartime superpowers allow him to ignore the top court. The big question is: What happens next? (Here's one thing: The next president gets to appoint justices to either solidify or knock away this opinion.)

The Obama campaign gave Kos a copy of Obama's birth certificate (or his certification of birth, if you really want to pick nits), so we can put any birth-related rumors or speculation to rest. (Speaking of dispelling rumors, the Obama camp has created a new website aimed at knocking these things down. Whether it'll be effective remains up in the air.
Running away from the candidate, GOP edition
With a couple of Dems distancing themselves from Obama, liberal bloggers were delighted to learn that 14 GOP members of the House and Senate have refused to endorse McCain.

More illegals to be allowed into USA??
Now we have the idiotic judges forcing the military to bring more illegals into the USA? These people have no Visa or any right to enter USA sovereign ground.
How can we allow foreign national enemy prisoners of war to illegally enter the USA? We have American Citizens that married outside the USA spending 1000's of dollars in order to bring their spouse into USA and it takes years and years. They are the ones that need our help to faciliate the unification of their family. Allowing people that have no LINK, VISA or REASON to be in USA the right to illegally enter USA and enter our courts is FLAT WRONG and shall be fought in every front in every which way.
Don't allow Non-citizens that have no right of entry to enter our SOVEREIGN LAND...it is a slap in the face to our our patriots.
If BUSH IS any kind of President he won't give them a visa. But then again we know Bush is mostly a Buffon.
In the age of marketing and communication BUSH does neither and the Left Stream Media and liberals always get their agenda/propaganda to the people.
WAKE UP AMERICA BUSH become a leader at least for the last few months you have left......go and watch some video of Reagan and pretend and LEAD.

Where do all these liberals get the idea that they can change our laws? These prisoners in Gitmo are prisoners of war. You people are idiotic to be of the opinion that they can be moved to the states and given "our" rights. And so we see that the prison in Afghanistan was bombed and the prisoners escaped. Do you really want that threat in the United States? Why can't you understand that we have "given peace a chance" but there are those who will always be jealous of our freedom and our society. Wake up before we are all living under rule of these terrorists!!! The silent majority has been sitting back long enough! Something will change very soon as "we" are sick and tired of our laws being changed rather than inforced.
