obama vs. mccain

obama will win. he will be a good prez.

vice presidency

Come on Hillary, give it a break.....you don't have to be the center of attention to help the country. Obviously, you are in shock or denial and need to move on with your life. You can't be the Vice President because you'd have a hit man after Obama in the wink of an eye so you could finally become "President". We aren't as naive as you might think.

obama and clinton

For the first time in the history of this nation we are not a country of what we typically call caucasions. We are instead the true meaning of the Caucasian race.... (The Caucasian race, sometimes called the Caucasoid race,[1][2] is defined by the Compact Oxford English Dictionary of Current English as "relating to a broad division of humankind covering peoples from Europe, Western Asia, parts of the Indian Subcontinent and North Africa" or "white-skinned; of European origin" or "relating to the region of the Caucasus in SE Europe".[3] The concept originated in attempts chiefly by 19th c. European thinkers to develop a method of racial classification. This typological method was discredited and the concept is not relied on in scientific work related to humans.[4][5] However, it survives along with the similar classification "white" on many sociological studies, most of which require respondents to choose their "race" from a list of terms. Some also allow "other" or "mixed". The idea is to use the self-selected classification (sometimes selected by the surveyor by appearance) for correllational studies, sometimes in conjunction with other sciences, especially medicine and public health. People in Europe, especially in Russia and nearby, generally use the term "Caucasian" exclusively to identify people who are from the Caucasus region or who speak the Caucasian languages.immigrants, but a country of all immigrants.) I choose the country of all immigrants because that is what Americans are. If not for immigrants where would we be??? I am married to a man whose family is ashamed or does not know that they are of American Indian desent. In my opinion the Indians are the only people who can claim rights to North America. Who are we to say who belongs and who does not, much less what color their skin is. I am voting for Obama for a better America with the hopes that Clinton is his running mate. We as Americans need to have a white house of "all immigrants".

Hey

He should choose Senator Feingold WI with a VP Presidency!

"Stupid Is As Stupid Does"

Well, I am extremly disappointed on the news about Obama clinching the Democratic nomination

My family will be voting for McCain, there is no way Obama will be getting our vote.

He has NO clarity on what he plans to do and WAY to much contact with radical extremist. I'm sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the 'unknown' candidate Obama...

We were hoping for change, but now there will be no change, as Obama has NO chance to beat McCain.

VP DREAM TICKET OF THE PAST

I hope Obama does NOT choose Sen. Clinton for VP. Months ago, that would have been perfect. Right now, there's so much negative feelings involved that I don't think it would work in Obama's favor. I say this for several reasons. Sen. Clinton will bring her own baggage and drama that Obama does not need:

1) Husband with HOT temper flares. No telling what he'll do next or say.

2) Will come in with the idea that "she should be the President, not Obama", yet not trustworthy and will create more problems for him.

3) We don't need a weak VP that cries and whines every time something goes wrong. Just like Mrs Clinton cried on National TV to get more people to pity her and to vote for her. (Too sensitive female side, which I can understand) :D

4) Sen. Clinton has had 8 plus years in the White House, enough time for her to make these changes she talks about but NEVER did.

5) Something secretive about the Clintons, and I have a tough time trusting them. They lie and talk their ways out of things. (ie husband talked his ways out of impeachment). And yes, even the Clintons CAN lose!

6) Their remarks about Sen. Bob Kennedy's assination kinda shocked me and my husband. How do I know they won't hire some nuts to take out Obama so she can take his place. Makes one wonder what's really going on in their heads.

Obama can do this without Sen. Clinton's help. We desperately need new change for the country right now. I think if Obama picks the right VP for the job, he'll do just fine. He is strong, and we want someone different in the White House that's not already corrupted. I have seen people in the past come on the job with very little experience, only to excel in a short period of time and do 3x better job than those who have been sitting there for decades stealing the company's money. Think about it.

It's not the end of the world for Mrs. Clinton; she can start over 4 years from now from where she left off. Her effort, I'm certain, will not go unnoticed. She's a very intelligent person that I'm sure will move on after this. She'll look back on this as a great experience and learn from that. Dirty politics does not always work as you end up losing valuable voters. (the most recent ie : promising Puerto Rico that she would make them a state, so she would get all their votes, was kinda sad)

Pls Obama, don't do it. You don't need all that drama. You still have Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Joe Biden, Sen Richardson, Edwards and many more fine folks to consider that are strong and will be loyal to you.

Good luck to you ~ GOGO Obama, we're all cheering for you!

Democratic Ticket

For the first time ever, I've considered casting my vote for the democratic ticket. Mainly because of Senator Obama because I like his message.

However, respectfully, If Senator Clinton is on the ticket, I will vote republican. Not because of Senator Clinton but because of former President Clinton. We need to focus on changing America not adding anymore drama.
